Lovely video. Freeman has been a personal friend of me and my family for many years and it is always a treat to spend a day with him. Incredibly knowledgeable but also very humble. I always enjoy our time together.
cannot agree more. for me it was always ok, but nothing more. but it has changed, now i really appreciate it, and i am on a hunt for a one in good shape :)
Great video, amazing designer!! in fact, I had the pleasure to have my mobility design project chosen and comented by Freeman Thomas in a global competition...that was one of the most important moments in my life.
Hi your work is alway top drawer, I so enjoy learning more bouts Freeman Thomas. I am a died in the wool 8N TT owner and fan. Here is my question, I have put together a little video (home made with Movie Maker Pro) that is a bunch of TT ads from the late 1990s and early 2000s, plus a video that Audi made for introducing the new TT to Audi brand representatives. At the end I've placed your video about Freeman. I've fully given you the credit for the Thomas/Barchetta video portion. Before I share this with anyone I want your permission. I would love to send you this, and get your OK to use it. Thank you so much no matter what you decide. Rick Glesner
I was born in 93 and I used to see these everywhere growing up after they came out, nowadays I see one maybe every year or two, they must have had longevity reliability problems.
Not really. 1.8T usually burns a bit of oil, and can have sludge issues if improper oil and care. Otherwise bulletproof, paired with the 02m trans. MK1 TT 1.8T custom top mount big turbo, manifold, downpipe, fresh rebuilt engine new OEM pistons , rings and forged rods. All done myself.
Mk2 TT driver here, thanks for the video! 🇬🇧

That’s really cool to hear. Thanks for watching.
Now I understand why my 2003 Audi TT is called “the poor man’s Porche”. ❤
Can't lie, the TT has grown on me immensely over the years.
Thanks for watching!

Freeman Thomas was a real genius, he definitely designed the best TT and A6.

Go freeman - loved the mk1 TT - have owned a couple - feast for the eyes
I just purchased a 1 owner 2002 TT coupe 180hp silver manual. I love this car. Only 25,000 miles on it.
It has to be amazing feeling when he sees the TT on the road and think "I designed it"
Great content as always. Thanks! And my suggestion is:How about a video for Walter de Silva's career?
That’s a great suggestion! Thanks for watching.
Thanks! Just finished it. Nice work!
Thanks for watching. I had a blast making it.
Another great video. What about the grill on the 1st Gen Ford Edge and Flex though?? Definitely made it over from the concept

Amazing! I love the TT. Drove it in Need for Speed Underground 2
😂 I see the 911 as a weekend car I take out of the garage every now and then. This R group sounds about right. 😅

I think a lot of people overlook the 356 influence on the TT.
Freeman Thomas has never designed a car. This page is a liar.
