Great advice! Thank You!
Glad it was helpful!
What if I wanted to use the video in my course, can I include the video in my course and direct to their page instead of directly uploading it?
So many youtubers steal under fairuse and add nothing to this platform, only using others work to make money, yet nothing is done.
I understand your frustration. RUclips has systems like Content ID and DMCA takedowns to address copyright issues, but enforcement can be challenging. Reporting specific instances can help.
Nice info thank you 🙂
Glad it was helpful!
I would usually comment peoples videos if I need it. Although there are yotubers who dont check their comments and abandoned their channel for years and stop uploading and you dont get your comment replied, since they abandoned there channel for years. Im making a documentary basically for educational purposes. I do give credits, add commentary , and use 15 to 20 seconds of a clip. There was this one time I posted a game play video. The youtube bots copyrighted me, cause i used "someone eles" clip which i did not at all and was a glitch. I desputed and luckily i got uncopyrighted
Hi! Engage responsibly with RUclips content, give proper credit, and dispute wrongful claims. Good luck with your documentary! ❤️
Let's say I found a video clip to explain that illustrate the training I am trying to explain. Would this be ok because I see tons of videos doing this.
Hi, sing a video clip to illustrate your training is acceptable if you have permission. But, always credit the source and ensure the clip enhances your explanation.
Thank you excellent advice.... Thank you
You are welcome!

Hi I have a permission from the RUclips video owner to use a bit of his work. (only from a comments section of his video when he said Yes I can use it). It's that good enough or do I still need of proof ? Because my worry even though I have his go signal to use a bit of it, that I might steel get a red flag from you tube. Please enlighten me about this. Thank you.
To avoid issues when using a RUclips video clip with permission:
1. **Get Written Consent:** Request the video owner to send formal permission via email or direct message.
2. **Save Proof:** Keep screenshots of the comment and save any emails or messages as evidence.
3. **Use Content ID:** Be ready to dispute any Content ID claims with your proof.
4. **Include Attribution:** Credit the original creator in your video description and within the video.
5. **Follow Fair Use:** Ensure your use is transformative and falls under fair use if applicable.
Taking these steps will help protect you from potential issues on RUclips.
So is getting a video, putting non copyright music on it, and text over it when its not the entire video is ok?
Using non-copyrighted music and adding text to a video can be okay, but make sure you have permission for any copyrighted content.
what I don't quite understand is that there are 1000s of re-uploaded videos lasting often the entire length but with reactions or comments added. There are a number of professional cooks for example who upload videos of say Gordon Ramsey and how Ramsey prepares a dish in an unothrodox way with running commentary on how (in this example) Ramsey is doing it wrong, and i seriously doubt they all contacted the repective original owners of the videos and asked them if they may comment on them, often the comments are critical as the dishes were apparently prepared incorrectly or whatever.
Re-uploading videos with added commentary raises copyright issues. Whether it's considered fair use depends on factors like purpose and nature of commentary, but it's a complex legal matter.
Very helpful ❤👌🏽
Glad it was helpful!
This first thing you would want to do, is contact the content owner regarding sharing revenue with them.
thanks!
From where we have to contact the owner
Not first thing at all .. first thing is .. find out .. can it be used , non copyright, free use , public domain
if i want to use others video from youtube or other platphorms, how do i give them credit?
Hi, to credit others' videos from RUclips or other platforms:
Identify Creator: Note the creator's name and channel.
Link to Video: Provide a direct link to the original video.
Mention Creator: Clearly state the creator's name or channel.
that was law enforcement.
Hmm.
🤩
: )
My question is how do I actually get the video and move it into editor so I can do these things?
Hi, Find Creative Commons videos on RUclips, download, edit with attribution if needed, then publish legally.
Awesome, thanks so much.@@teknikforce
You're welcome!
Why is there a Share button if not allowed to share?
That's a good question
What if it's a video that they interviewed you on? Just you and that person?
Hi, can you please elaborate your query?
@@teknikforceI feel the person means, what if they are also on that video and they wanted to share it as well.
Terrible audio...
hmmmm
