How do you properly reduce microphone latency? I've tried all the popular methods I could find and they've done nothing but completely distort my audio and crush my vocals, but had no effect on latency. It's quite a troublesome issue I've had with every single FL Studio version since 2013, and I have a pretty good processor. The thing is, I can reduce the latency in Reason but I hate the modern Reason UI.
I am using an Focusrite Scarlet interface, so i have not had that issue. And i guess you have tried with the different audio settings and aio drivers in Fl studio as well. But as it works well in Reason, seems the issue is linked to FL Studio at least, so the answer should probably be in the audio settings somewhere
@@FJordArtist I guess I'll just have to make myself accept the Reason UI and record out of that. With a 6 core APU clocked at 4 GHz, I can't fathom how there's still so much latency. I've got a Sound Blaster Audigy FX 2022 refresh installed for output, and then added the M-Audio M-Track Duo to run my XLR mic in. I have no measurable latency in OBS either. My engineer runs Pro Tools on an iMac from 12 years ago and has no latency. My system is far superior to that system, and FL Studio acts like it's slow despite my low CPU usage. I had high latency even with a USB mic, and it's unsteady latency too. If I line up the verse properly, parts of the verse will fall off because it'll delay more, then it'll be perfect in other spots of that same verse. It's impossible to line up. It's puzzling. I just moved up to 21.2, so maybe it's been addressed by now. But I had no luck in 20.
