    I love your videos. I have lost and gained weight on WW and it is always successful when my mind is totally in the game. Right now I’m not so much in the game. I tend to loose my motivation after a while. At 77 years old, I’m more concerned about my health than being the perfect weight. You have to do you and be happy with where you are. I’ll still be watching your videos.

    I applaud your decisions! You need to do what is right for you. Life is short and do what makes YOU happy. You are doing fantastic and just stick with it.     Great video! I totally understand where you are coming from. You gotta do what you feel is best for you. I’ve been a WW member since 1988, and made Lifetime in that same year which I’ve kept off and on. Over the years I’ve gone through several different WW plans. I can remember when the meetings were full…and there was so much enthusiasm. It was fun to see the new products. For me, WW began its downward trend when they got rid of in person meetings for much of the country as well as the changing of programs every 2-3 years. I live out in the country…for the last 20 years my closest meeting was 30 miles away. I would also use that day to do my grocery shopping. This past March, when that meeting was shut down, there were about 20 of us who wanted to stay together. So now, we meet weekly at a member’s church. We have our same leader and receptionist who weighs those who want to weigh in. Of course, we don’t call our group WW, but we share our successes and challenges as well as recipes. Some of us still follow WW, while others are doing a different weight loss program and others just come for the support. Each of us pay $5.00 a month which goes to our leader and co-leader for their gas money. It has been a very successful arrangement.

      Denese, thank you so much for sharing this with me. What an incredible journey you have been on. I LOVE that you all stayed together and made your own group!     You do you boo !! As you say this is your channel and you can do what you like. If people don't like it then they can just move on. You can't make everyone happy every time. We all get bored with our plans and need to reinvent things to keep us interested. ❤

      I had a subscriber state in the comments that she was coming short on calories on WW. I always wondered about that. I see myself pacing myself better with this app, spacing out food. So happy you are having good luck with the app!

    I was a WW member for years. I was successful in losing over 100 pounds. I was basically losing weight on the "blue plan". When they changed the WW plan to the Personal Points Plan, I stalled out on losing weight. That plan did not work for me no matter what changes I made. I felt like I wasted the entire year. My weight would go up a few pounds, then I would lose a couple of pounds, and that continued. I got so discouraged with the plan that I went back on the Blue plan. I did start losing some weight again, then I reached the point where I went into "diet fatigue". I was just tired of thinking about food all the time, tired of eating the same things over and over. I've gained back weight over the past six months. Right now I'm counting calories, lowering my carbs a bit and increasing my protein. I'm hoping I can get in the groove again and the pounds start coming off. I really want to reach my goal weight. I, too, am very disappointed in the WW program. It's not anything like the original WW program. When they started closing workshops, discontinuing selling WW products and getting into the Ozempic market, I completely dissolved myself from them. I really needed the WW community, and that's why I attended the workshops. Now it looks like eventually there won't be any more workshops, so no more community. A year from now, I wonder what will be left of WW. It's a shame, and I understand your feelings about WW.

      Hi Pat, I am always so happy for you that you lost over 100 pounds on Weight Watchers. I also did not like the Personal points plan and I totally understand the diet fatigue. It’s definitely important to take breaks from it. Seems like eating a little bit. Lower carb is really helpful to a lot of people. Thank you for sharing.

    I know what you mean. I do find the meetings help me but just found out my leader is leaving at the end of the month

    I love your chatty videos so I will always watch no matter what plan you're on. I don't follow a plan myself but I eat low carb, low fat and sugar free - it really works for me.Xx
    Ps I'm always worrying or over thinking about something - I drive myself insane 😅

      Hi Janice. All those things, sugar, fat and carb, that's a great thing to eat lower on! So glad you found something that works for you! Yes, I know what you mean about over thinking. Worrying about things that will probably never happen. I was doing that last night and then also worrying about telling all of you I was changing plans AGAIN, lol! Deep breaths, diversion and making a to do list can help.

    I agree with you on meetings. I’m very lucky in my area we have several WW in person meetings locally. The one I attend is 6 minutes from my house. I feel very fortunate as in person is what keeps me accountable. Saddens me that they have cut so many in person put. Again you go girl! Excited for you.

    Tracking is time consuming, but necessary. I count calories. It works for me as long as I track. Do what works for you. Good luck with your journey in 2024.

      Hi Val! I never knew you were tracking calories. Do you use a certain app on your phone? I am learning a lot about my macros and really need to hone in on my nutrition. This has been such a learning experience for me. Thank you so much for your support.

    Yep, sometimes we just have to shake things up and try something different. Interested to see what you think of calorie counting, I've never been able to stick to it but now that I have an app that has detailed macros,etc,it might be fun to try. Good luck!

      I have a hard time sticking with anything! I will keep you posted on my progress. I just realized that I was snacking at night, it's past 8 and I am staying away from the kitchen, lol! Have a good rest of your weekend!

    One thing I do ti be healthier, is making sure that I eat at least two servings of fruit and one serving of veggies a day. Without WW I can go back to eating poorly

    I have gone back to the healthy app and I'm doing conquer cravings again and I'm really getting motivated to keep going with I have lost 3 and 1/2 lbs since starting. I like the freedom of that plan. Good luck with what you're doing with counting calories.

      Conquer Cravings is my FAV WW program! 3.5 pounds is wonderful, I am very proud of you! That plan is forgiving with carbs, which is super helpful!

    Danielle, I totally agree with everyone else! Do what’s right for you! I think you look great! The 10 pounds you took off obviously helped. Your face is slimmer & you seem to have more energy. It doesn’t matter to me what you follow, I will always continue to watch you. I love your content & you are such a sweet, kind person. I really enjoy your videos.     Boy do I getcha!! You have to do what excites you. I do calories and macros. I've been off of ww a long time. I'm post menopausal (long time). To lose weight for me takes an act of God. After 5 months of weighing, measuring etc. I lost 9#. SO long story..... the doc suggested Ozempic (which I have been totally against). But it's working. I'm still doing 1000 cal a day. So we'll see. Good luck I'm sure shaking it up will help

      Hi Judy! Do you use a particular app to count calories? I like being back on this plan. I'm down 1.6 pounds as of this morning, but I'm only doing weigh in videos 1-2 x a month, so I'm not stressed out. I am so glad that you are doing well with Ozempic. I do agree that change is good and shaking it up can be helpful! Good for you Judy!!!

    I am with you regarding being bored with WW as well. I think I am just going to use my fitness pal for now. Keep up the videos though if it fits with your life! I enjoy them!

    I lost interest when meetings in my area in March 2020 went away. No way can I drive 90+ one way to a meeting. I just couldn’t feel a connection with virtual meetings.

      Hi Bee- I know you have been on the Momentum program for a long time (my favorite WW program). You can try the free version of Lose it or My Fitness Pal and if you like it you can upgrade. It was $20 to upgrade to premium for me (has the scanner then), let me know if you try it and how you like it! We are in the same boat!

      @@daniellenichole2696 There are Many days that I'm way over in points and under in decent calories. I'm almost 79 and not very active. I got back to Lifetime goal at the beginning of November and I really want to stay there.

    I'm behind you.. I've been thinking about leaving ww..my deal went away and back up to $45 a month..meetings are different..no more of the leaders that helped me and in my area there is just a few leaders and none excite me..plus no more products..no incentiives..no bravo stickers and you got a charm for losing 10%of your weight..no more.. I do my fitness pal but I might look into lose it

      I agree with all the above, No more "Weight Watcher's Stuff!" I love buying those over priced products, lol! It made it fun to by something. No more points to win those prizes you could pick out. It's such a bummer. I am so glad you like My Fitness Pal, another subscriber in these comments uses it and likes it. I didn't look into that one, just jumped into Lose it years ago when my doctor recommended it. Keep me posted on how you are doing!

    I’ve been double tracking on weight watchers and lose it. It doesn’t seem I get enough calories on WW. So I started doing diabetic plan. I get app free as I’m lifetime member. I haven’t updated lose it app in awhile so I went undated it and offered me lifetime for 59.99. I think I’m going join you and count calories rest month.

    I’ve been feeling the same way about WW. Not throwing any shade on them, it becomes tiresome to work so hard and to see the repeating pattern of up .4, down .2! I have even wondered as of late if WW works that way on purpose. So many people experience that pattern and it certainly does keep a lot of us paying our WW bill every month. I have taken a mental health break from dieting and it has been good in so many ways. The Lose It! app is really user-friendly and fun. I wish you the best of luck with it. I am going to try the balanced plate approach, a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and protein. We’ll see how that goes, but I think everyone has the right to change it up when it begins to feel like old hat.I will follow your channel in any case. Good luck with calorie counting!

      I'm wondering if we were undereating on WW? I felt like I was either under or over eating on that plan, never really knew where I was with calories because I didn't double track. Balanced plate sounds fantastic, gets you away from all of this tracking (which is tiresome), but still gives you some parameters! Happy New Year!

      I’m just hoping the balanced plate approach will encourage me to eat healthy whole foods without all the diet mentality. Whatever plan we use, our good health is worth the effort! I’m cheering you on!

    Another question, how much are you trying to lose per week, in the settings? And are you getting the extra calories from exercising? Thank you! I’m so excited that you are doing this!

      I have it set so far to lose 1 pound per week I may change that up but that’s what I’m starting with. I am not sure on the extra calories for exercising. I have to look into that I can’t remember how to check that. Do you do lose it?

      I think they are both excellent apps, but I prefer the Lose It! app. I find it to be a little bit more user-friendly and fun to use.

      I weigh in regularly throughout the week. I’m not sure which day will be my final weigh in for when I film it but I will definitely let you guys know at least once a month how I’m doing.
