California Blue | Classic Vibes - Roy Orbison Cover

- "California Blue" is written by Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty.
According to "The Authorized Roy Orbison", Orbison recorded the song in April 1988 at Mike Campbell's garage in Los Angeles. "California Blue" was released on the album Mystery Girl, in January 1989.
My version of this great tune is recorded with my Squier Classic Vibe 50, the Zoom G3X as volume pedal and the fabulous VST Sound Pack with the amazing Sultans of Swing patch.

Since Roy Orbison and Mark Knopfler seem to go very well together, my version is inspired by these 2 of my all time hero’s. Enjoy!

Thank you Phil. In do love Mark’s finger picking playing style and had a go a that since many many years. The Squier Strat is a 2020 Classic Vibe 50, which was my personal lockdown treat.
