Definitely way to speculative. He was great but he definitely gets the ultimate rose tinted glasses treatment (no pun intended) especially because of how injuries derailed his career. His 2011 MVP year is honestly pretty overrated and definitely one of the weaker races in the past 20 years. The "youngest MVP" thing is very played out, great accomplishment but guys like LeBron was better at 21 then Rose at 22 and Kobe and KG was similarly as good as Rose if not better at the same age. Pretty sure Bron and KG were literally runner up for MVP at that age or younger too.
Then you got guys like Chamberlain and Unseld who were literally MVPs in their rookie year and Kareem/Bill Russ in their 2nd years all of whom could've probably won it at a younger age then Rose had they not had to play multiple years in college first.
I still think he would've easily been a HOFer but "best PG" based on a couple great years early on is definitely stretch.

@@MrBwinfrey yes? Did you not read anything else I wrote? There were a bunch of guys that were as good as him or even better at 22 and under so it's definitely overrated from the perspective of where he stands as all time great young player. I'd definitely say LeBron, Kobe, CP3, KG, and Magic just to name a few were as good/better than him in his MVP season at the same age or even younger.
