- What a way to start the tuna season with 2 members of our crew catching there first longtail tunas.

Good spot! My old man and I got got double hook up there once, dad dropped his. Guy next to us hooked up to one. Long story short, got mine in and went to help old mate. He begged us "I've hooked 8 in 2 weeks and I've lost 3 and 5 got sharked, please help me land just this 1". Gaffed it and it went 18kg. Got the biggest hug from him and was an awesome moment! Gotta love when fellow fisho's help eachother out!

Look on google Maps mate pretty easy to get there.

@@Surfkaster You can go that way but it’s a different ledge just as good in my opinion.
When you look at maps there’s the first point from the beach there’s like a ravine runs back into the headland the ledge they fished is next.
I’ve fished many ledges between boat harbour and Fingal point caught tuna from many of them.
I’ve fished up and down NSW east coast for tuna for 36yrs..
I’m 55 now and still fish for tuna every season it’s hard to not enjoy a SCREAMING reel.
