    I have a 1977 gt750 and it is complete.
    When i was 20 the crank seals went and i had som issues with the clutch beeing extremely hard.
    Also i got water leaking to the gearbox.
    I took the engine out and started on some of the work but i ren out of money😂.
    Later on, i had to move, and it ended up in boxes at my fathers place.
    Now i am 32 years old, have my own house i have a garage with a motorcycle lift and everything.
    With your videos i start to build up the confidence to make up with my past and fix my old friend once for all😅.
    Thanks for the videos Peter.🎉

    Great video.
    Serendipitous too.
    Just ordered new carb boots and intend to thoroughly go through my carbs to make sure all the holes/jets are clear and to check my float heights etc, etc while they’re off.
    This video is a great addition to the Suzuki Carby booklet.
    Thanks.

    Hi Peter. I have the early carbs on my "J" but I still wanted to watch you work through these slightly more involved later carbs. Have enjoyed all your work. I am waiting with bated breath for the engine rebuild. Thanks Kevin

      Thankyou Kevin always nice to hear the videos have been of use or interest to people
      The engine rebuild has been filmed in about 5 separate videos, so you can select which ever area on the engine you have an interest in, that way you don't have to go through a long video to find what your looking for.
      They should be up in a few days

    Hi Peter, Will you also post a video showing the bench-balancing of the carbs?

    • @suzukigt750idiot
      @suzukigt750idiot  2 года назад +2

      Born
      The true balancing is in the bike when running with my vacuum gauges. I tried to film the process
      but I couldn't show the adjustments clearly enough so I stopped filming, but I will try again when I have someone here with me to hold the camera
      Bench balancing is easy it's just a visual check to ensure all the butterflies are FULLY closed and then adjust accordingly if they are not

    Hi Peter, great vid, very helpful. Where do you source the cap head bolts from for the carb tops ?, ive tried classic bike fasteners but they dont seen to do them. Also are the 74L model the same as earlier models ? Thanks, keep up the good work. Regards Simon.

    • @suzukigt750idiot
      @suzukigt750idiot  Год назад

      I just buy the cap head bolts off ebay, I think the carbs on a GT750L are the CV type which are completely different to J and K models
      But I only build A and B models so I'm not 100% certain !
