The katana display, during peaceful times, is done correctly when you did it the second time, with the handles facing leftside of Date. This is because as most, if not all of samurai are right handed or taught to be right handed, this display makes it harder to quickly deploy the swords, signifying you have no intentions to harm any guests that may come to your home. Loved the review. The look was great, and yeah, I feel they could have done a bit more dragon themed of a look. I think (I could be wrong) that Date Masamune was the first daimyo to incorporate guns into his forces and tactics then use them in warfare, so that's why he's historically been depicted with a firearm of some sort, be it a pistol, musket, or a rifle.
@@KairuHakubi He got smallpox when he was young, and lost sight in his right eye. Legend has it that he carved it out himself, though concrete records are unclear.

The "thumbs-up" hands are actually to hold the "Saya", which works when you want to display Date Masamune drawing the "Daisho" (translates to big-little, not joking, look it up) in an epic way, like Samurai uses their thumb to help by pressing the "Tsuba" (Japanese for hand-guard) before truly unsheathing the katana. @@eyywannn8601 yes, you hold the scabbard with left hand, and do this motion to pull out the sword from the scabbard, and then you grab the sword with your right hand. very make sense to me.
12:09 learned this from shogo but if the hilt was on the right it would be easier to grab and therefore a sign of fighting and aggression. Since it’s a time of peace and you want to be respectful to guests you have the hilt on the left to show nonaggression.
So I actually only learned about this recently, but the difference between a magazine and a clip is that a clip is essentially a stick of ammo, where all the bullets are pointed with the tip outwards, and the whole clip would move upwards to load the next round. (EDIT: This was initially incorrect. I confused a clip with a belt. It has since been fixed. Thank you to the people who let me know). sorta, the clip isn't a belt. that would just be a belt. belt fed firearms are typically incapable of receiving any sort of clips or magazines (with notable exceptions) a clip is just a small metal rod that holds rounds that you insert into the internal magazine of a firearm. think stripper clips on the M1 Garand or the clips with the Lee Enfield rifle. but you got what a magazine is right though.

BUt AShuRaMAn, a clip doesn't always load a magazine, it's essentially a magazine without the spring: an ammo holder, in it's most simplest. Guns that use clips instead have an internal feeding mechanism such as an M1 Garand or Lee-Enfield.

The Talos was a statue from Ancient Greece, legend had it that it was a form of robot that in time of attack could be controlled to repel the invaders.
10:08 From what I could find, no, but guns did exist in the 1400s which was about in the start of the Sengoku period. However, guns wouldn't be introduced to Japan until the early 1500s.

Some things never change your the only RUclipsrs I know that even with a growing amount of subscribers kept his content the same and I'm thankful for that
Looking at it closely they may have put the One Eyed Dragon nickname into the design, sharp and soft edge and shapes reminiscent of scales literally all over the body of the figure, and the fact it uses the sniper rifle which in pop-culture it commonly seen as a one eyed weapon and in the case of video games, there is always that one sniper rifle that resembles a dragon or has a dragon on it. The head camera is also more prominent than the eye's when the LEDs are off, it looks like one big eye because I'll be honest I was unsure if there were any eyes when I first saw it and wondered if the big orange thing was the eye. It also shares similar characteristics to reptiles being more linear and smoothed out yet rugged and plated like both a mech and an irl lizard, in comparison to Takeda Shingen which was meatier and muscular same as to a regular Tiger. It also looks like it can fly too.
Little quirk with the sniper rifle, there's a magazine release controlled by the buttstock. Extending it not only raises the scope but also locks the magazine in place while collapsing it disengages the magazine catch, making it drop out. Nice little detail there.
I think the color is from Date Masamune from sengoku basara series. Can't believe I've only just found this channel. Hands down one of the best things on RUclips or even T.V for that matter. Makes me laugh every video, so good.
Date Masamune right there is more like a combined mish-mash design of Reborns Gundam from 00, Blitz Gundam from Gundam SEED and the arm shapey design gaves me a vibe to Sinanju's puffy arm design from UC. Given a name " Date Masamune " is quite amazing for a figure like this.
3:57 omg are you telling me that your making a gunda review and in it the gundam ghost will get a theme song? If so... AWSOOOME. I don't care about gundam but I love the swivel man no uta theme. So if your going too do something like that again hell yes
It's so weird seeing a Date Masamune that only wields two swords. I'm too used to the Masamune from Sengoku Basara that triple-wields swords in each hand.
Talos was according to Greek mythology a robot created by Hephestus that was used as a protector. It looked like a massive suit of armour and had only one weakness. The weakness was a single nail that when removed caused the essence that kept Talos alive to spill out killing it. Edit: also magazines hold ammo and have a built-in mechanism to move the ammo to position and clips hold bullets and rely on the gun to move the ammo.

16:06 damn what
Can't believe I've only just found this channel.
Honestly jobbys content is enough to make my week way better than it already is
Now imagine this levels of posablility on a warframe figure. That'd be amazing!
Jobby is one of the few who can make advertising enjoyable to watch.
3:57 omg are you telling me that your making a gunda review and in it the gundam ghost will get a theme song? If so... AWSOOOME. I don't care about gundam but I love the swivel man no uta theme. So if your going too do something like that again hell yes
Good gosh never have I ever wanted a mecha figure so much! It just looks so flipping awesome! 🤩
It's so weird seeing a Date Masamune that only wields two swords. I'm too used to the Masamune from Sengoku Basara that triple-wields swords in each hand.
I don't know what that is but I need it right now
I would love to see a review on some kind of Zaku Gundam, I love it's design
Ayo is that that dragon from that Deepest Sword game at 4:46
Yes
JOBBY!! I’m 18 now!!! (Certified big boy) BLITZ EYE TUTORIAL WHEN???? Also love you ❤️
._. @11:27
crap hes on to me
Jobby try the "slightly open thumbs up hands" on the Scabbard like how they use their thumbs to push the sword out a little before drawing it
“I dont read chinito“
You can put the sword in the elbow inverted to have some kind of arm-blade while he holds the guns.
13:48 The Gundam Fanboy looks Worried lol
Talos was according to Greek mythology a robot created by Hephestus that was used as a protector. It looked like a massive suit of armour and had only one weakness. The weakness was a single nail that when removed caused the essence that kept Talos alive to spill out killing it.
Edit: also magazines hold ammo and have a built-in mechanism to move the ammo to position and clips hold bullets and rely on the gun to move the ammo.

*foreshadowing?*
Ya.i came back to this episode and catched that, foreshadowing for 9 months
I am interested in spring loaded front chest part. That would be the new idea for the next mech figures.
Calling it now, Hatori Hanzo Massanari is definitely going to be done in this line. Him and Oda Nobunaga are just the obvious ones.
A full black mecha with devil horns and hints of red for Nobunaga would be fucking epic. Also shitload of guns, of course
How it stored the first sword remind me of Vergil from Devil May Cry
