Thanks bro for sharing these information, I’m a mechanic and have all these scanners but no body wanna share the information on how to do it . Now I found your channel life is much easier at the shop thanks bro
Hy that's a great video and thanks for your time. As I spent a lot of time learning as well. I always hear VVDI prog but I got KTP instead and don't really see many videos of it. Read and write with key tool plus.
@@globalcommerce7654 I also need to replace and code the fem module it also got wet. Any idea of how to approach this. It's a 2914 BMW X1 has the fem that slides out of the fuse holder section looks similar to FRM module
You have to get an eeprom file from online (exact same module as the one you’re repairing) or you can get a donor frm3 and read it yourself and write data to original. If you can’t do either of these then one more way. once you have done the partial write and the eeprom is blank (FFF) you can add it back to the car and adapt with im608
Hi, great video. If i heard you right, the donor EEPROM file was written on eeprom here. Was the donor EEPROM file purchased or from another E90/91 FRM module?

I think better way to do it with xprog, because no need to do any coding after.
