I have some old painted plywood I inherited when I purchased a mid century home. Can I reuse and rejuvenate this plywood for this project? I had hoped to use it for some inset shelves and other projects, but I am wondering if it is worth salvaging.
really nice job. and crafty skills! I wouldnt use plywood as a finishing layer, or leave it exposed. but the frame is really nice, and the criss-cross design of cutting the plywood very artistic n creative. I would def opt for a better quality of finished wood for the 'board' pine maple wtvr, any sheet of wood thats already finished, for the extra cost with the time to do this, its not big difference esp considering the difference in cost of a ready made head board
Thank you so much! This headboard looks like something I can actually do 😂 it’s so simple yet beautiful 😍 curious to know what it looks like up against the wall? Can you see the 2x4’s under the bed?
I used about four 2x4 boards. It is best to measure the size you need and decide accordingly. And I come on here a couple of times a week to answer questions. You can also email me anika@ anikasdiylife.com
Yes. I could have. But I didn’t buy these. A lumber store gave me their cut offs. Either way, even if it was a full sheet of plywood, I would have to cut it up to get the pattern and look I was going for.
This is the best I've seen so far in terms of cost and convenience and it looks GREAT
Thank you! I love it. Are you going to build one too?
@@Anikasdiylife 😄 This is not my turn but I'll pay someone to do it.
Me and my wife did not expect that to turn out so well. Great job!!! We might end up doing this!
Beautiful design! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Cheers!
You seem to have a thing for green, I do too! Love the headboard and the green wall. I just watched your green kitchen cabinet redo. Love that, too!
I am thorough impressed!!! Wow! Great job and nice tools! I have none of those tools. Lol

Thanks in Brazil four video.
Thank you!
Beautifully done! 💕👍 What veneered plywood did you use? 🤔
Thank you. I used maple veneer
@@Anikasdiylife thank you! 🙏
Really nice 👍🏼
I love this! Thank you!
Super creative
Thank you! 😊
What size did you go with to fit your king size bed?
What size 2x4s would I need for a queen size bed?
Good job!
Thank you Linda!
Uhhh, your kind of like a genius... thank you i will copy paste...
Is that a magnetic bit/ screw holder on your wrist and if so omg where did you get that from? It's ingenious.
It is! I got it from Amazon. amzn.to/3UkzwJn
I didn’t see but did you glue the edge pieces that join together?
Hello. I love this headboard! How many 2x4s are needed?
Gorgeous !!! I heard maple is difficult to stain but this is a very pretty color! What stain did you use ?
really nice job. and crafty skills!

this plywood is actually really good quality and I love how it looks. You can use whatever you like though!
Did it get warped over time? I did something similar and warped. What kind of plywood material did you use?
Nope. Still looking great.
Could you tell me what is in your wrist for the nails?
Love your headboard! I’m making mine this weekend. What were the measurement you used? Was it for a king size bed?
YES PLEASE MEASUREMENTS
Thank you so much! This headboard looks like something I can actually do 😂 it’s so simple yet beautiful 😍 curious to know what it looks like up against the wall? Can you see the 2x4’s under the bed?
How did you round the edges like that?
Are there plans available????
Here you go: www.anikasdiylife.com/diy-plywood-headboard/
I love this! What size plywood did you get and do you have the measurements??
I used one entire sheet of 3/4” plywood. It is hard to give measurements but you can follow the step by step process to reproduce it.
Boa ideia.... agradeço sua ajuda.
Parabéns!
What size is your miter saw? Can I do w my 7 1 4 miter saw
Yes you can. Mine is 10” but I had a 7-1/4” before that.
@@Anikasdiylife my is new I'm considering going to 10in bc I see limited to cuts
Don't you see the raw 2x4s from the side?
Well if you really put your face against the wall, you do.
@@Anikasdiylife Still a really nice design. Thanks!
The wood glue Amazon link is not correct ( shows pocket hole screw) 😉
Hello Anika how many 2x4's did you use? What is the best way for your viewers to get a response to our questions?

Thank you for your response. I hope my headboard comes out as good as yours
IS THERE ANYWAY I COULD BUY THIS?!
Oh I forgot to ask about the thickness of the plywood you used.
I used 3/4” plywood
@@Anikasdiylife what size plywood sheet did u get? I have 2x4ft 4x8ft 4x4ft options
please 🥺 can you help me with some of your cutting machine is very costly in my part of the world
I like it, however I didn’t see how she rounded the corners, feel like i’m missing something...
Beautiful, you make this look easy, but I don't think it is!
Nicest plywood of all the ones I have watched - the female touch is so under valued!
She could have just bought one piece of plywood
Yes. I could have. But I didn’t buy these. A lumber store gave me their cut offs. Either way, even if it was a full sheet of plywood, I would have to cut it up to get the pattern and look I was going for.
FYI pretty sure someone stole your video. ruclips.net/video/UQ7LRGAWo2o/видео.html
