@@seizetheday5008 What did you think of it? I love it but agree with Baka that the vocals are very prominent in the mix as opposed to the instruments & the song feels like it was done as a single release rather than just for an MV :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 I haven't watched the visuals for this song, yet I have heard it guessing 100+ times now. I do not know who is doing what but I think either band could play this unto themselves and it would sound as though other band is playing as well. Band-Maid would need Dany's opening part and The Warning probably Miku's part. Other than that, sonically both bands together sound as 1 band.
@@seizetheday5008 Yeah i think you're right. They swap vocals back & forth & Saiki is using the top range of her belting voice so the vocals do blend together. Without the visuals it's difficult to tell sometimes whether it's Saiki or Dany singing :)
W I N !!!!! 🎀 W I N !!!⚡I think we can just say, at their level, Band-Maid and The Warning are equal peers at the very top of the "Rock" pile. I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Reap! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔
First thing I did this morning, logged in and watched "Show Them". Loved it, The arrangement is brilliant, bare set spot on, both at top of their game and everybody looks beautiful. Would love a Making the Video, video. Now off to Mexico so Saiki and Miku can sing in Spanish. I think this worked because both bands have control of what they do. No arrogant record company MBA in charge.
You got that one right! Actually, you get most of 'em right. I couldn't say all of them right because that would sound like you paid me. And we know that didn't happen, right? 😫 But it could happen. 🙄 The exchange rate is in your favor, so... 😏
@@GaryHolloway-810 I'll take that over money any day. Well, most any day. Well, not any day, but most of the time. Well, not... shoot! You're not going to pay me? 🫤
I knew this was going to be good, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good! It's very much a Warning song in tone and style, which is no bad thing. Could have done with more Ale and more Miku, but all-in-all, 100 out of 10
BAND -MAID+The Warning=Greatness. Nice Babymetal shirt l and🎉 LOVEBITES cap. 2 of my favorite Japanese metal bands. I've been thinking about a Babymetal/LOVEBITES collaboration. Asami singing Babymetal songs with Moa-metal and Momo-metal with Kami band. Sue-metal singing LOVEBITES songs with Fami, Haruna, Midori and Miyako. I have watched shows with members from Gacharic Spin, Nemophila, SHOW-YA and others. Babymetal and LOVEBITES have played festivals the same time. It would be amazing if they performed together. 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🦊🦊🦊
She wrote them with Miku. --The lyrics were co-written by Kobato and The Warning. Kobato : That's right. Since it was a collaboration between two all-girl bands, we talked from the beginning about depicting a strong female figure who can take on the world, and creating content that would help them rise up together. From there, we each wrote something and we kind of worked it out together. Paulina : We had shared the topic of lyrics at the beginning, but there are cultural differences between countries, so sometimes we had differences in interpretation. But when we came to Japan and worked on the lyrics together, we felt like we were on the same page. That's because the nuance that Kobato was looking for became clear. Kobato : Yes, by talking face to face, I felt like we were able to understand each other properly even down to the smallest details po. Paulina : I think the lyrics are packed with everything we wanted to say. Very Gracias-like (laughs). Kobato : People are already using "ppo" (laughs). I want it to become popular all over the world.
Saiki was so damn fierce! Band-Maid release days are the best days. 🙂

One of the tracks of the year 100%. I'm curious of how big the numbers of this are going to hit.
Thank you for Band-Maid and The Warning!!!
Have a good day!!!
You too!

Good stuff. A fun song. A bit commercial. The lyrics are a bit saccharine. You can tell Pau didn't write them.
Well, if the purpose was this collab she certainly could. 😉

You asked for a score out of ten?
Hmm...around a 3? Mostly gets points for the singing. I'd put it around Band-Maid's 8th worst song.
What fell short?
