- Now an annual trip for me, this October fall leaves camping trip with some amazing people in West Virginia is a great time! I bumped in to this amazing young man, Cory, at Overland Expo East and it turned out he was coming to the same camping trip just days later! I was inspired by Cory's setup and determination to build a specialized rig capable of taking him wherever he wants to explore. We also saw some really cool hidden gems along Canyon Rim road and Canaan Loop Rd that you'll definitely want to check out!

We started down Canaan Loop from the state park side in a 2017 Forester last July. It got rough pretty quick. Table Rock is on our list when I can get a Jeep down there instead, lol. We drove SR72 to make up for the disappointment.

It was definitely both, multiple times hahaha. The bumper is still mangled and the Jack kinda maybe works 😬
Cory is a genius with all his customizing! The fridge slide idea, his drawer system, the snap in table, and fishing poles!!! Not only is his set up awesome but he chose an XJ! You know, the best of all the Jeeps. The way his is set up and how he puts it to use is inspirational on every level. Just one minor question...where did you get that adjustable rake? I saw that and now require one!
He totally is! I had seen his Jeep a few times before this but I was blown away by all his mods, and the amount of gear he has so readily accessible. I'll have to ask him about the rake!

If they ever find out where the oil is leaking from in my JL I wouldn't mind wheeln with you. I met you years ago at a Bleepinjeep event when you blew your hub apart. Im in Southern WV.

@DirtRoadTherapy yeah its a bummer. They did a RMS and oil pan and it still leaks. Its gotta come back apart again. It's very stressful. Thats life for ya. I'm glad to see people offroading in WV though. I'm glad I found your channel!

hey, just starting to watch this one - consider putting the popup axle under the leafs? - that's how Forest River "made" an "offroad" edition of our popup - virtually identical but SOA. (just a thought)

I don’t really plan to take the pop up on any more adventures. Gonna fix the bumper and jacks, probably sell it in the spring.
