Okay, I did some more research regarding priest marriage. In real life Orthodox priests as well as some priests of various smaller Christian branches can be married, however, the marriage must occur before they are ordained. That is, you can no longer get married once you have become a priest, but stay married if you were before (in contrast, Protestant pastors can marry even after being ordained). According to the CK wiki, the game does not have such a mechanic - all faiths either allow clerical marriages or ban them completely, and in-game Orthodoxy does not allow priests to be married.
Considering you don’t do inheritance as you normally do wouldn’t doing matrilineal marriages for your latter born sons you don’t plan on pushing anywhere or using as knights be beneficial? That’d expand your alliance power at the very least
Putting your heir as a spymaster is brave. I had cases where my son and heir was plotting against my character even though he was very happy. But it also depends on the temperament of the son, I guess (the son was treacherous)
RE: Development growth - you're not utilizing one of the best aspects of your Diligent trait (which is to use the decision to periodically get development per month added to your capital, in exchange for some stress.)
RE: you could use the build in custom message feature to remind you to influence your grandsons

Should create cadet/side family with great genes so intermingle them with the main house after some generations or so.

I still think Theo is the better dynasty heir with those stats especially with his genius wife
