Too Many Zooz (often stylized as TOO MANY ZOOZ) is a music group based in New York, New York. The band’s members are: Leo Pellegrino (bari sax), Matt Muirhead (trumpet), and David Parks (drums).
The band formed when Leo and Matt met at the Manhattan School of Music. Previously, Leo and David had played together in Drumadics, a local busking band (busking means performing in the streets for monetary tips). In 2013, the trio started busking together at various stations in the New York City Subway system.
As their popularity grew in the subway stations, the band defined their own genre for when people asked what they sounded like - brass house. To them, brass house is defined as a mix of jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk, EDM and house music and it’s continuously evolving and growing.
The group truly rose to fame when someone recorded them performing at the Union Square station and loaded it on RUclips, where it subsequently went viral. Along with their incredible instrumental skills, Too Many Zooz are known for Pellegrino's characteristic dance moves while playing.
The trio was the electrifying band backing Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks' collaborative performance of "Daddy Lessons" at the 50th CMA Awards held November 2, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Yo everyone, people with killer fashion sense develop it over years of experimentation and by being fearless about it all day, every day. Sometimes things don't work, they're human, they move on. Leo changes his look all the time, that takes more balls than sitting in the suburbs with a hot pocket, anonymously dissing him on RUclips.

Great to see talented musicians make it after spending years working hard. They were the best part of Beyoncés CMA performance. Had the pleasure of meeting Leo on a concert tour.

As you get older your metabolism slows so when you go from a old kid/young adults you might gain abit of weight if you continue to eat like a kid can. That said I've seen his Instagram posts and I think he knows he's put on abit and he's hitting the gym now every day so maybe in a year were gonna have a muscly leo 😂💪

The song Spocktopus theyre playing has a very balkan feel to it, it was made to be played at the legendary Guca festival. Discovered the band through my niece over a year ago, definitely enjoy their music: Maritza, Noda, FWS, Spoctopus, Tricerahops.Warriors, Subway Gawdz,etc....
First time I heard these guys I thought they were Eastern European.

I loved these guys when they were coming up. Sad to say but they may have already jumped the shark. I contributed my own money to their kickstarter for their last album "so they could make it the way they wanted to". Haven't listened to it yet, know why? It has not come in the mail yet as promised! (supposed to get it June 2016) Buncha bums. You're good, but you must not be THAT good if you gotta steal from your FORMER true fans.
