For the question, I prefer buying smaller fish with the genetics of getting big. 80% of the pleasure is seeing them grow up and getting to know them, plus the interesting dynamics developing when different fish grow up together, it works 1000 times better than trying to get full grown predatory fish to work together. Ive had and have still different combinations of fish that should not work together, some should be food but they leave them alone from growing up together. Adding a full grown into my big tank almost never works.
I got a lemon oscar from yall about a year ago when you had a bunch of the 4 inch ones, it is now darker orange than the "ruby red" oscar I got from another local importer. It was sure yellow when I got it and stayed that way for a few months but I'm warry of paying extra for one that is just going to turn orange anyways
You should do an all native to America tank. Musky, walleye, northern pike, crappie, blue gill. Stuff like that. Maybe large and small mouth bass. Would be pretty sick in my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe there's some videos in the past you've made about this, but if not I sure would love to see an in-depth instructional video on how you design your acclimation station and how it works.
You should offer Bangkok fruits and vegetables and nuts. My gourami loves greens and he really loves duckweed he can't get enough I'll throw a big hand full of it in his pond and by the next morning it's all gone. I know none of the bass or the arowana eat it.
My favorite fish was the Chinese perch. I had one and I lost it, he swallowed a piece of fish and it was covered with Malaysian trumpet snails so he swallowed that too. He wasn't able to pass it and it ended up killing him. Very disappointed with that one.
Barramundi go darker in fresh water Turn chrome in salt water. I know because they are our local fish. In tropical Australia! That's normal ones .The Yellow prob don't matter. They ain't wild fish.
Much more enjoyable when you spend more time showing them in the acclimation / recovery tanks and skip the bulk of the plastic bags reveals that show nothing. Plus you fixed the chirping smoke alarm. Sleep well, guys.
I don't know how many of you guys on this channel know Chandler's wildlife and his king cobra Kevin well he passed away is no longer on this Earth so if you watch this channel go give him some love because I know how a ride felt when his fish down in Florida got killed he's probably feeling the exact same way because like I said if you watch this channel and you knew about that king cobra yeah that king cobra was something special
These guys really just make me interested in fish again when i lost all of it
do it. make the comeback. 🎉🎉🎉
It’s hard to watch and not want fish.❤

You guys need to hype up the imperial flower loaches more I’ve heard they’re super fun to keep with tons of personality and a cold water species too.
