Its a standard 30mm tube... There are several one piece mounts that work with the ATN scopes. ATN sells one themselves, bobro sells one, and im pretty sure a few others.
@@RipWheelen yes, 30mm. The one piece mounts end up being way too tall after adding the dovetail adapter. My biggest surprise was the pic rail being too small. Very unusual. Fortunately I got everything milled down and it's tight.
Bro you have to get the extra large? So sorry I had to man. hey you have it on a dove tail .22 I am sure it isn't going to just snap right on a regular small rim fire mount. 20mm ? less than an inch? The rails are different because there are diff types of rail. But nice video congrats on the success. Better than I have had sir. Try it on a little nicer .22 with a built in rail. It will hold zero and not strip out screws from the weight. A 10-22 won't hold it you have to go with the billet reciever with the rail milled into it or brownells has their own brand they are awsome. Heck yea man out there killing dogs with that set up is great. I struggle with a rest and a 6 arc during daylight.
@@JoshB-ro7lv I've got it mounted on a pic rail. The rail is dovetail. A true pain. The biggest frustration is the pic rail being a few mills too small. I got the clamp milled down and it's tight.
Dude why are you choosing a Bolt Action to install a thermal scope on? I own the Marlin 925 22mag and it's a good shooting rifle that puts 7 rounds into ¾" @100 yards. But it's not a ideal night predator rig. I own a Ruger 10/22 Magnum and a AR-15 22 Magnum that I have night vision on and it's so much better than the bolt action. Here in Texas with the amount of coyote and hogs we have to deal with having instant follow up shots with a Semi-Auto is non-negotiable. Anyways I hope that setup works out for you and you get some successful hunting in. Keep up the good work.
@@celmer6 it's what I got bro. I really love it but, yes, it's probably time for a semi-auto 22 mag. Maybe I'll do an AR 22-250 build. Or just a Wylde. But for now, this is the gun that gets the thermal. I want quiet and I want 100 yards. 22 lr doesn't quite have the umph I want.
