The confetti and other little details are so fun! I can never do any decoration besides color in my weekly spreads because I need every possible space for my calendar details (probably because I mix my work calendar in and I'm usually scheduled down to the half hour with meetings or court hearings). I could certainly throw some sparkles in though! Walter is my favorite because of the blue shades. I like the idea of the dinosaur personalities being things you aspire to do, like more gardening. I'm sorry people have been critical in the comments, I don't take your tone to imply it is easy to ignore errors, just to be encouraging of people possibly exhausted by the perfection they may see in others' journals. I think the goal should be too enjoy journaling for ourselves and that can be messy (I know I would never share my weekly for that reason!).

I’m pretty sure Charles is my kindred spirit haha. I planted 5 fruit trees this year and am completely renovating our backyard right now. Because our backyard is completely torn apart and we still wanted a vegetable garden, I have plants all over my house and front yard in pots. Hopefully with any luck I will be able to start planting them in the ground in the next couple of weeks.

I love the backstories for all the dinosaurs! I love using stickers and sometimes have trouble combining both stickers and doodles so I love seeing how you use both stickers and markers in all your spreads. They turned out super cute!

I have just started journaling. I do have OCD. Sometimes it’s hard but I am using my mistakes as opportunities to smile at my humanness and creativity. This year I am actively being kinder to myself. I teach my kids to be kind and gentle with themselves so why not do the same for me. Thanks for sharing and hugs to you and everyone here💕✨

What a beautiful set of spreads, Hedda! I love what you say about making mistakes and being more forgiving with ourselves. Also, I'm a city girl too but I often fantasize about living somewhere with a garden.

Love these weekly spreads! My fave is the yellow, it’s so bright and cheery!
You said red scares you, maybe all the more reason to use it in a spread? Try using it with teal, or black, or orange with some brown.
Ahaha maaaybe, I’m just not a huge fan of bright color combinations like that🥲💕
Oh Hedda, you are so awesome! You're videos always have a lovely vibe. You said, you've never done a red spread... me either, but I'm going to try it in June with poppies. :) To stay in a bit of a comfort zone, I think I'll hold onto a couple of goldenrod yellow markers. If the red is too much, I'll switch to California Gold poppies instead of the traditional red poppy.
