My favorite song off the new album. The album is amazing and I think their best so far. Any critic that has panned this album simply doesn't get it.
Hearing some of that Verve influence again and it's wonderful, beautiful songs guys

And you know, they might hate me saying this, I don't know, but I hear some U2 Achtung Baby era influence in the singing and Pete's guitar and some Transformer era Lou Reed in Rob's bass tone

Fernanda Fernandes I listened to LTGW about 50 times trying to get each one's pieces 😂 in this song it's easier to tell though, I think
Hum, I disagree. I think that on this one, it isn't so much clear. On LTGW, we can hear Pete's raspy voice better. I think this song has such a good vibe; so uplifting, isn't it? :)
Here Pete sings the chorus and bridge and Rob the verse (also some harmonies on the bridge).
For me it is all sung by Robert in this song. Especially during the higher parts Robert has is own and different style than Peter. I prefer Peters voice though.
I saw an acoustic live in which Rob was singing the verse and Pete the chorus. When Pete sings Falsetto he has no raspy voice and gets really mellow like Robert.

I just reminds me of the Millenium and the Staybridge with Jack and Alana and making the track of Madonna and Maryjane. Both, outstanding times of my life with Jack. We had a good day that day. I'll never forget it.

The lyrics make me cry,
I could never explain the mysterious aura she gave off. My ex fiancé and I were highschool sweethearts and had lost our virginity to each other. When we were still at the stage of sneaking out to be with each other. Her room as weird as it sounds became this sanctuary. She had beautiful string lights along the ceiling and a dark painted room. She would show me music like Lana del Rey which for some reason helped me cope with my depression. Her music still makes me sad today knowing she would play it whenever we were together. Our love felt tragic, I somehow knew deep down that it would end in pain. Whenever I’d come home from training or deployment, I would head straight to her house to lay in that amazingly comfy bed and watch her do her hair in the mirror. It always felt like I was daydreaming with her.
Works well in Mid Wales. Best tune I've heard in a long while.

Glad to see the lyrics here for this great band. BRMC's weakness *commercially speaking* (it has no artistic weakness) is that the vocals are always mixed too murkily, too hard to make out. I know, it's part of the sound. But it's a mistake commercially.
