BRMC are so very special. No other band's music makes me feel so grounded and so "quiet happy". Like a huge blob of warm light inside. So thankful for all the songs they put out.
2001 I bought a music magazine either uncut, mojo, or something ... it came with the usual mix bag CD 💿 remember those ... anyway skipping through it I was stopped dead by a tune that set my soul on fire instantly ... track 11. white palms , artist black rebel motorcycle club .. I instantly knew this band was gonna be part of my life . Next day I was in Avalanche records in Edinburgh and bought the only copy of the album they had, straight home and never having heard any other of their music , true BRMC fans will know of the absolute infinite sonic pleasure I was bathed in as the album unfolded it’s self, track after track of pure rock and roll fuel and fire ... I was in love and 20 years later they are still playing music from their soul straight into my heart .. I just want to thank you guys for giving us the music and keeping it pure and fuck you guys for ageing so dam well , true rock legends..
What a great comment...perfectly expressed
Thank you BRMC for every song that you have written, and for staying true to yourself. You guys are such an inspiration. I remember when i first heard "Red Eyes and Tears", it was out of this world experience . Role models.
Najveći!
Red Eyes and Tears no more for you my dear/I fear ...
Both their voices are really good!! Great acoustic playing too
Man does Cheryl do an amazing job interviewing my favorites!!!
She's such a genuine music fan. It translates in the way the band's react to her. Can't imagine KEXP without her.
She's great.
I really dig this acoustic version of BRMC it is indeed very "dreamy".
0:48 Echo
6:33 Haunt
19:37 Complicated Situation
22:37 The Knife
Great band, all their songs are so wonderful...
Never heard of this band. Amazing
Liked BRMC for many years and they are just consistently amazing. Fortunate enough to see them in Europe, China and Australia. Great work. Please come back to Australia when all this crazy stuff is over. Loved seeing you at the Forum and the Corner Hotel - we were very privileged to see you in such a small venue!
Love this band more than my kids lol
Just can't get enough of this band right up thare
Oh man what a way to start the day. Thanks for the dreamy voice and beautiful songs, and Cheryl extremely competent as always
Love this band, have been a fan since the first album, A brilliant set
The Knife is a deep emotional song, one of my personal favourites
Really like this version of their music. Wish they would record like this.
The time is ripe for another 'Howl'-esque album of theirs.
I was just thinking Howl. They probably have enough material.
I have come across a recent interview where they do mention wanting to try a stripped down approach for the next album. So who knows...
Thank you Cheryl ! You’re doing an amazing job ! Such a magic personality 😊

Spectre at the feast is perfection. Love the band, saw em live back in 2013.
Saw them in Brooklyn, then jersey city, can't get enough
were you in front row in NJ?
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are like wine.
Good Wine. I listen to them all the time.... I like them better than The Black Angels. More range. I've seen them about 4 x times.
Proper musicians
I like how Rob saved his ramble with a Bill Hicks reference at around 6:15
So beautiful
Awesome original music played from the heart. 👊 BRMC 👊
Class harmony loves these brothers
I love Acoustic versions of BRMC.The Best KEXP live in 2018!

"You are the imagination of yourself."
...compelled me to write it down on a napkin ;)
That's deep! but it's just his own belief.. we can never be sure for sure!
Its from a Bill Hicks routine back in the late 80s-early 90s

What a fucking tune knife
The drop. Psyhadilcally
Leah is the best thing to ever happen to this band and I hate that she isn't here. Buuuuut, it's cool to see the Rob N Pete show.
Lol what about Nick
alison huang I love Nick! But, Leah's drumming had so much personality!
Anyone know the tuning of their guitars?
This is like having your mom interview you. Something I'm sure these guys needed.
You should rethink life
Just lost ma best friend 18 in the garden

ooft they have gone all lenard cohen
this is great, but where's leah? :(
Oi. Também senti falta dela. Vc já viu o BRMC ao vivo?
Let the anger out. Please.
Definite Jeff Buckley vibe
Defo bud
No drummer? Is she still recovering from that head surgery a while ago?
She is fine now. I just saw them last week and she was as powerful as ever.
Phil dunphy
To beat the devils tattoo
So much more than the Mary Chain cover band I initially thought they were. Not that I didn't like that either.
Wow, I always thought that Peter was the main vocalist :|
Ya they're lookin' pretty ghostly. Nice music though
Where's that hot drummer?
She was in a bad way life is a roll of the dice she came through God bless
Tattoo
so depressing
Big BRMC fan but not of the choice of songs. These downers felt like B-side material which is a shame as I think this band really shines through their more bluesy/rock & roll songs. Still, I love these guys!
great versions of Complicated Situation and The Knife, but boy are they totally drugged up... Robert especially
Gimme a break. What a juvenile talking out of your ass comment. You don't have a clue one way or the other. DO YOU? The point is, who knows..but you're just propagating BS rumors and gossip with that sort of commentary.
Dude said on-camera after the first song that he hadn't slept for 3 days. Take from that what you will.
chin up Stefan mate, it was a light heared comment :) and also, as Kurt said below, it's not exactly rocket science to conclude how can someone be up for 3 days in a row...
Robert suffers from insomnia. As stated in many interviews, none of them do drugs.
didn't know that, my last memory of these sorts was that when they went to that studio in the desert and did all the psychedelic stuff you can think of, or at least that's what they said about those proceedings :D I can't recall which album was that, maybe Specter?
Acoustic BRMC, ewwww
