One of my fondest memories of HBCU, was in the South. It was my first time really witnessing the Greek orgs. Stroll throughout the party. I have never forgotten and don't plan to.
One narrative says black people don't stick together but this is not just a "stroll. Pledging was no joke. One gets the paddle, all get the paddle. One of you are late, all of you are late. Unison, Uniform and unity. RESPECT

Carlos Green Yup I knew that! Usually, undergrad chapters are more interested in recruiting from freshman and sophomore classes...ya know the babies. But this might be a state HBCU versus a private HBCU thing. As most private HBCUs your chances of making an undergraduate line after sophomore year is slim to none.. So now I understand why so many of these folks look old and a little interesting that an 18/19 year old would be on line with 24/25 year old.
