One of the best Si Stebbins tricks. That value/suit flip is very natural. I'd directly ask the spectator to pick a number between 10 to 20 rather than 1 to 50. There are people whi would often go for too high or low then the cut won't seem natural.
If it's above 12 you take cards from one half. If it's below you take from the other. The implication is if they pick 12 exactly you don't have to do anything. Just lay out the three cards.
