Reminds me of this amazing gamemode for Gmod called MORBUS: It was basically Trouble in Terrorist town meets The Ship on a big space station. Also everyone who dies to the alien gets turned into a necromorph zombie who then roams the map trying to kill more people. So there's a reason to always have a gun. @@sujimayne not relevant to my point, I'm saying Among Us blew up as it did because it took those games and added mini games to kill the down time between rounds, giving even people out of the game stuff to do, on top of having very simplistic "cutesy" graphics and simplifying the premise to just having impostors and the rest, no specific classes with specific jobs or anything too involved, it's made to be playable as dumb fun and as something almost as serious as those games and that's why even people outside of gaming in general, that would never ever touch the games you mention, flock towards it and that's imo why it is so succesful
All my friends: hey you should play among us, its about astronauts and imposters. Me, a man of culture: i've been to the depths of space trapped with an incompetent crew and the spawn of satan.
I still remember my favorite match as the monster. I was on the hypertrain and the spacemen were all grouped up in packs so I never could get a drop on one and they didn’t seem to be infighting so when it got to a minute before the shuttle arrived we all moved in a big group to one of the landing pads that it could be and on the way someone decided to grab a nuke. We made it to the front of the train and the guy decided to trigger it as the countdown started I was in the back of the group with several others so I decided to use a key card to lock the only door killing 11 or 12 people in the blast however I couldn’t escape the blast zone but with my blastshield perk I survived with “10” health for my disguise I stumbled upon the survivors acting surprised about what happened and they encircled me one used a syringe on me and it was jig was up I transformed and slaughtered the survivors. I truly owe that victory to the mad man with the nuke
I don't know why but the colorful spacemen aesthetic is so appealing to me. (This, Among Us, Space Engineers etc.) You can't see any expression or emotion since they have helmets on but yet it still feels like they have personality
Goddamn I still need to play it backlogged with my QT3.14 GF but Yakuza 7 and P5R.. and my n^nth playthrough of RE4HD since its almost completely done with the UHD project.
For those of you who are watching this now, the perks have been broken apart and we are now seeing mote diverse monster loadouts. Overall the game is really fun, waiting on that traitor update

Star Citizen worthy roadmap and vlogs hype-building. Barely playable alpha. Then another one on a new engine, then another one but on UE4 (because reasons). And then the dude in charge just came out and said something like "Aw shit. We tried, but failed. Oh well. We're done with this game. Lets move on." Aaand, we also had ex-employees saying that they were not getting payed. Early access in it's finest.

3:27 So, funny story:
The first time I was watching your Pathologic video there was a group of Coyotes fighting over a deer carcass down the hill from the house I was staying at. That swarm of noise added an extra bit of edge to the review.
10/10 would be terrified again.

Mandalore: *“I must ASERT DOMINANCE!!! RROOOOOoooo!!”*
Me: Beutifal
One of the few cases where Manadalore's recommendation couldn't prevent the game's inevitable demise. I gave it the old college try, I really did, then dropped it to play something more fun.
Just when I needed to figure out what to do.
Bless us with your wisdoms, Mandalore!
Been playing this game 4 a while, happy to see more people playing bc of u!
Mandy T-Posing on coyotes to assert dominance
The Ghost Master soundtrack in the intro. Oof. Right in the nostalgia. I had forgotten this game existed.
Feel bad that this game got overshadowed by among us.
It can be played by people on their phones, not hard to figure out why it boomed so quickly.
Among us captures a way more casual market, the player base should be different and the numbers would probably be worse for this game if among us didn't explode as the genre would still be considered super niche
@Mialisus About the timing... Among Us was actually released June 2018. No idea how it got dug up.
@@SerechII If you think Among Us exploded anything but itself you're living under a rock. TTT is still the most popular gamemode for Garry's Mod, which is one of the best known games of all time. Deceit and Town of Salem are also extremely popular, hell, Town of Salem predates Among Us by 5+ years and it's extremely popular on all platforms.

I have never heard of this game and it looks magical, thank you for this
I don't know why but the colorful spacemen aesthetic is so appealing to me. (This, Among Us, Space Engineers etc.) You can't see any expression or emotion since they have helmets on but yet it still feels like they have personality
Someday I will have the joy of watching Mandalore play Disco Elysium.
Thanks for all your hard work, your videos are amazingly fun.
fingers crossed
Goddamn I still need to play it backlogged with my QT3.14 GF but Yakuza 7 and P5R.. and my n^nth playthrough of RE4HD since its almost completely done with the UHD project.
12:06 I'd love to see the full context of this scene cause I can't stop laughing at how well it feels like it was ripped straight out a movie script.
1:14 IS THAT A SPACEMANS OF THE 13TH STATION REFRENCE I SMELL FROM THE FURRY CORNER OF THIS HELLPOT?
For those of you who are watching this now, the perks have been broken apart and we are now seeing mote diverse monster loadouts. Overall the game is really fun, waiting on that traitor update
I was about to suggest _Duskers_ to you, but then I saw that it's already on the list _(and what a list it is)_
Can't wait til you get around to play it ^^
Love the video as always. Made my day seeing this was up.
I see that manalore is taking his meds regularly since he's uploading more frequent than sseth

Never hear of this! Definitely going to go take a look. Thanks @MandaloreGaming, your mission to bring great games to the people continues!
Best Regards, an unfortunate Spaceman.
Was that Ghostmaster Music in the intro? Great game, I'm always glad to see someone else who at least knows of it.
Game looks good, but I'm still salty over their previous project. The Dead Linger. What a dumpsterfire that was. 150k on kickstarter and who knows how much from steam sales.
I love this game, thank you for showing it for the Lowry Hordes
Watching this video with wood carving partita in the background from castlevania made it more enjoyable. Thanks 👍. I love that music 😀

That Ghost Master music takes me back. I will always be sad that there is no remake, or at least a remaster.
I'm pretty sure the original devs went bankrupt shortly after it was released
it sucks that this game is more or less dead. I had a lot of fun with it when there were still people playing
Yeah this game used to be one of my favorites and I hate that it no longer has an active playerbase.
I heard the ghostmaster theme in the intro! Are you gonna review that game sometime!? One of my fav childhood games!!
Thank you so much mandy, this is still my favorite game and your video brought so many new players. I think the months after this dropped was some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game
Is the game still alive? How is it? And is it fun/worth playing?
@@bigshoota4492 no its very dead, sometimes i get on and their arent even any servers with people but sometimes they get organized. Its extremely fun and ive loved it for 3 years and i still play somtimes but its just hard to find servers now. But it is definetely worth playing
@@bigshoota4492he game is extremely dead. it's reached the tail end of a multiplayer game's life. the only people who still play the game are people who have thousands of hours in the game, and completely ruin the casual nature of the game. you will not have fun even if you know what you're doing. you especially wont have fun if you're still learning. also the game hasnt been updated since like 2019 and the devs have forgotten about the game and ditched it to work on a new game
Oh Lordy, for once i know what game is going to be next
I really love vermintide
Every time the Ghost Master music kicks in I'm rocked both with nostalgia and the knowledge that somehow that game wasn't just a strange, buggy dream I had as a child.
I hear you choosing Ghost Master music for this, I already like the game.
Excellent mandalore doxed himself at 3:30
Also, Sanitorium is a great point and click
I would love to see an Among Us type of game played with all the retro gaming boys. You Szeth, Uberdanger, Civvie, Raycevik, bring in Internet Historian, too. I'm sure IH will do anything to get out of uploading videos to his main channel.
Every video you make got nostalgic music in them and i love it
Mass Effect 3 used an interesting and experimental new form of storytelling invented by George Lucas and the ancient Babylonians called "Ring Composition", making the ending both sublime, interpretative, and transgressive, and also subintergressive-er. At the bottom of this article you will find a link to the storepage for the remaster.
Did you really just say the ME3 endings are "sublime"?
Just no dude. It was "Die die or die with a change of lights."
I remember seeing a RUclipsr make a video or two on this game a few years back and recently randomly remembered it existed though I forgot the name.
So thanks for reviewing this great game! And keep up the great reviewing!
