- As Albert Wesker sometimes as you use his power & an survivor stuns you with a pallet you'll gain an extreme amount of speed as him. Combining this with Coup De Grace he'll gain a large portion of distance.

So clarification to what's happening here for anyone confused: Wesker has a bug that can give a permanent speed buff if he is stunned in a dash.
*edit* There are ways to deactivate the bug however their are several bits and pieces we still do not understand
It goes away if he breaks a pallet i believe.

Even without the bugged movement speed and all the other perks, the thing about Wesker's lunge is that it is so subtly telegraphed. Wraith distinctly bends his elbow upward and makes a clacking audio cue when he starts his swing. But during Wesker's lunge, his torso is totally stationary, he only moves his knife-holding arm horizontally, and then only makes any audio cue when the lunge is already finished. Also his footsteps and movement is I think quieter than even Ghostface. (Okay. Unrelated rant over)

@@hightechniker9234 He might get nerfed sometime, at which point my opinion might change, but I really feel like he's "the Final Boss of DBD". Nurse is definitely stronger in any 1v1 chase, but surviving against Wesker tests ALL of your skills: He's powerful in 1v1, he has powerful map pressure with the infection. If you're not aware of where he is by his Terror radius, you can get caught with your pants down. You need to be cogniscent of your pathing when moving between tiles / between gens because he can catch up to you very quickly. You need to be mindful of taking protection hits for other survivors who are gaining Infection while in chase, because if you don't help them get out of chase soon then they may inevitably go down quickly. Wesker has more things going for him at any given time than almost any other killer imo.
@@dardade3277 Nurse has traversal and 1v1 that's better. More pressure since she can teleport from a gen to a gen with distance, and evens sometimes without. Honestly Nurse is sadly still better, but Wesker's kit is still fun and really good.
@@Aeternus75 I don’t think anyone is ever going to argue for a killer being better than Nurse (except old Spirit) but Whiskers might be along the lines of Huntress or Artist whom are both great killers with goof skill ceilings..

So I encountered this a lot as Wesker, I was testing with NA friends so my ping was about 270-300, it seemed that everytime the game had to try and compromise where the survivor was and I was during a bound, itd just forget to remove the speed boost the ability gives so if I hit one of my friends, itd turn on again like a god tier secondary ability. Short matches lamo.

fun fact: bloodlust does not increase lunge range

it does, but not in the way you expect. it just slightly increases range because lunge speed is based off your current movement speed.
also why Spirit and Wraith have a long ass lunge after phasing or uncloaking. not that it is really longer, they're just moving way faster.
The range is longer, that mean you go faster during your lunge attack, but the lunge time, is still the same.
they should add quick time events to dodge wesker at that speed lol
