I think you did a wonderful job on explaining everything and applying the product as well. I’ve been watching many RUclips how to videos and your right up there on my saved list! I am planning to do this today (and the next two days if needed lol)! Thanks again for your video! You did a great job!
16:4❤7 Hi, I liked your demo. I used to do nails professionally. I never used titipsI did sculpted acrylics. I have been curious about the gels. You've given a good demo. Thank you
Very helpful, thank you! The lack of actual words on the directions is what sent me looking. My kit came yesterday. I’ll report back in a couple weeks. ❤
I just purchased this kit and I’m nervous to try it. I enjoyed your video, you explained it well. Question, what did you use to try out your nail bed and to wipe your finger? Please and thanks.
thanks for this truly honest review. I do think you might be pushing it in too hard and thats why the color payoff isnt grea, but i know pretty much nothing lol. I think after watching this im not gonna try this system as it looks too complicated for my skill level
You are running into the same issue I had when I bought my individual set. Some forms fitted snuggly on my nails and some didn’t. Then it was the over-flow off the sides, then trying to not press too hard, etc, etc.
Good job. Please note that polygel is softer than hard gel and acrylic. Your application yielded a nail that will not last long and will likely break easily, as I saw no apex and you can see through the enhancement. To fortify it, should do a thicker layer of poly or you might want to do a layer of hard gel on top.
Hi, thank you for your message. I will try what you suggested of doing a hard gel on top of the polygel. I have never done that as it was my first time using polygel. Thank you very much for the tip it's much appreciated!!!
The removal process was simple. I clipped the free edge, then used a coarse carbide bit and filed away until I reached a thin layer (before reaching the nail plate) and then soaked off with acetone. My nails were in good condition afterwards just needed to oil them up to rehydrate them. Please let me know how it goes for you as I struggled a bit as you saw. Thank you for watching and for commenting. :o)
@@Lisaida Thank you. I used your video with this exact kit to do my nails for the first time. Your video was perfect. First hand was tough, second hand turned out perfect. Practice makes perfect! Thank you again!!!! 👍
Can you do a video explaining how to get started with RUclips? Like how to create one and how to make videos etc? I have comprehension problems and the way you broke down this video and explained things were so good for me to understand and i am definitely getting this kit. I was unsure until i came across your video :) wish me luck hhaha
Hi there, thank you for your comment and for watching. It lasted "about" 3 weeks I am a housewife (cooking and cleaning etc...) so I believe that is what made it last that timeframe.
Hi, I would suggest investing in a nail drill it will help a lot. As you saw in the video a lot of troubleshooting I had to do on my own (that wasn't explained in the kit instructions). A lot of nail drills can be as low as $20 to much more pricey in the 100's of dollars. See what is in your budget, go on Amazon and try to find one that is within your price range and practice using a nail drill. Plenty of tutorials that shows you how to use an e-file. If you are unable to buy an e-file (nail drill) then I'd suggest soaking off the nail with 100% pure acetone and start over and be more careful with the application to the best of your ability. All the best to you! Let me know how it goes :o)
Few things. Can I try this without a drill. Not sure I want to invest in that yet. Did you try the lamp that comes with the kit? What did you think of it. And also, how long did it take you to complete the set? Thanks for doing this the lack of directions have freaked me out and I’ve been sitting on it for weeks 😂
Yes you don’t need a drill but I recommend to use another file to soften the edges of all files so that you don’t cut around the cuticles when filling. The lamp that comes with the kit will take about 3 times the amount of time too fully cured the nail if it is translucent. Great for flash cures then using a bigger UV/LED lamp of 38 watts or higher to fully cured it. When I first started using poly gel it took me about two days to do both hands only because the forms they sent in the kit looked like claws how they curled, luckily the kit had sticker forms as well so ended up using those instead. Highly recommended to watch long hair pretty nails and other Utubers for more info..
If I can make a suggestion watch longhair pretty nails or nails by brandy they have a lot of videos on Polly gel. And long hair pretty nails has her own line of them called Pattie gel. I have found when using poly gel that if I don’t press down so hard I get a better result I have very flat tops on my nails and almost square side walls so I choose the next size up on some nails. You can lay more gel with out reusing the duel form once you have done the first round. Flash cure the cuticle line so you can turn finger or hold and turn finger and smooth out underneath the form then fully cured. Hope this helps. By the way you did use the kits top coat before you put the gel polish on.

How long did it last ? I used to do gel x nails but they didn’t last more than 2 days for me because I’m heavy handed .
