We lived in the greatest era for Rock Music, beautiful ladies, and recreational mood enhancing “supplements”. We also lived PRE AIDS/HIV and were able to live dangerously with the ladies. 😂 I wouldn’t trade 1980 - 1985 for ANYTHING, with 1983 being extra special!
I saw them live in 1990. At one point during the set, both of the guitarists and bassist were using bows, they were playing Beethoven. It was so crazy good, I bet 90%+ of the crowd had no clue, but everyone was going wild.
Tawny Kitaen appeared in several 80's rock videos. Before Whitesnake she dated a guitarist from an LA band RATT. She appeared in their videos & on a couple of their album covers. She dated OJ Simpson once or twice also
She also dated a pitcher from the California Angel's, by the name of Chuck Finley. Yes, you can invert the 1st syllables of the 1st & last names & come up with something... interesting. Just picture Kitaen: "Chuck me harder, please!"
And then later in life she beat the hell out of her husband, professional baseball player Chuck Finley, so bad that he had to miss a start, she was arrested on abuse charges and he had to get a restraining order against her. Still, nothing will ever take away the memories of watching her in these videos as a teenager.
Still of the Night is my absolute favorite White Snake song. Total eargasm. The rocking out, the build then the release. The violin/guitar playing makes my heart kick into overdrive every time since I was a teen in the 80's
Okay the 80s weren't just for the guys. These bands were primarily for the ladies for the women to go to the concert so the boys would follow because I damn well know we were licking that fucking screen watching the men in the bands. The 80s were so awesome! 😊
This was on a lot of peoples "fuck" list. A list of songs you put on when you are getting down. The rhythm...its all about the rhythm. Having Led Zeppelin's Kashmir before or after this song = 15 minutes of steady pounding.
Tawny Kitaen was married to a Pitcher Chuck Finley of California Angels and there was a domestic disturbance and she was charged with domestic violence and he actually missed a start do to the injuries he sustained...a few months later he was warming up for a game against the White Sox and the White Sox DJ played this song over the PA...the DJ was fired that day
He was a Cleveland Indian when they met and when the stelletto episode happened. After having 2 children they divorced but they were working on getting their marriage another try and called it off right before it was to take place and next thing you heard about them was her passing
I watched MLB way back when Dale Murphy was an outfielder with the Braves all the way up until 2008.... sometimes the announcers and dj's could be giant jackasses, to try to rattle him with making light of his DV, blech!
Take me down slow and easy, make love to me slow and easy....Slow and Easy. Slide it, right to the Top, Slide it in, ain't never gonna stop....Slide it In. A couple other Whitesnake jams to check out.

The redhead is Tawny Kitaen was David Coverdale's wife from 1989-1991. Check out Deep Purple...the band David was in before Whitesnake. I'm sure you've heard the song "Smoke on the Water"
When 'Still of the night' by Whitesnake became a hit in 1987, many critics complained that they had "ripped off Led Zeppelin"... It was reinforced when former Zeppelin singer Robert Plant slammed Whitesnake in interviews, derogatorily calling singer David Coverdale "David Coverversion" ... However, former Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page loved "Still of the night"... and called it the "best song Led Zeppelin never wrote" 😂 In 1993, David Coverdale and Jimmy Page wrote and recorded the album 'Coverdale.Page'... which became a hit record. But they never got to tour extensively because Robert Plant and Jimmy Page started working together as Plant & Page by 1994.
David Coverdale formed Whitesnake in 1978 after Deep Purple split. They were a heavy Blues Based Rock style. David got Bernie Marsden to join the band and they became song writing partners on many of Whitesnake’s biggest hits. From 1978 to 1982’s Saints and Sinners album, Whitesnake stayed in that Blues Rock lane. Fellow Deep Purple bandmates Ian Paice and Jon Lord joined the band also for a few albums. Then David wanted to jump on the United States Hairband bandwagon and started changing personnel with the 1984 album Slide It In. I still prefer the original Whitesnake lineup and sound. In 1987 Whitesnake released their Hairband debut album Whitesnake, with their revamped lineup, and it contained the hit song “Still Of the Night”, and their biggest hit “Here I Go Again '87" written by David Coverdale and Bernie Marsden. This was previously released on their 1982 album Saints and Sinners. Many of the biggest post ‘87 Whitesnake songs were re-recorded songs from their 1982 and prior albums. "Walking in the Shadow of the Blues" was on their 1979 album Love Hunter and was also written by David Coverdale and Bernie Marsden. Their 1980 album Ready An’ Willing contained the song, “Fool for Your Loving" another great song co-written by David Coverdale and Bernie Marsden. Also on the Ready An’ Willing album was a song that David Coverdale wrote pre Whitesnake, “Blindman”. It is an all time favorite of mine. It is something special. Just a beautiful song. I’ll leave the link for it below. “Blindman” ruclips.net/video/pF_gza3e49w/видео.htmlsi=QizGpqHo14zOifVF
This is the song that saved me from rap music fandom in late '87. My cousin gifted me the tape for Christmas & the rest is history. I was then shunned by the other neighborhood guys who were all rap fans. I took the other path & was a metal head for the next couple years. No Regrets. #GenX 😎🚬
Tawny Kataen was the lead singer’s, David Coverdale, wife. Also, Tawny is the girl in most if not all of the Whitesnake videos, she probably just died her hair different colors. The liquid that she was spraying was probably supposed to be perfume.
This band had stand out musicians and terrific compositions, Tawny Kitaen and the video are sexy for sure. By the way she was a terrible drug addict and died young. Tommy Aldridge is one of the best drummers to ever do it. David's vocals are amazing, he was formally with Deep Purple. Mtv and 80s sexy videos are terrific, just dont forget the music drives it all. * sigh * back in those days we had some sexy songs! Glad I was into this music from early '80's 😁😇 (Hard) rockers are thé best folk yeah! 🤘
Slow and easy and suspicious minds are bangers by whitesnake
The redhead is Tawny Kitaen was David Coverdale's wife from 1989-1991. Check out Deep Purple...the band David was in before Whitesnake. I'm sure you've heard the song "Smoke on the Water"
This is my favorite song of theirs. Grew up on this music!
This is straight up Hard Rock and yes us Rockers are very sensual!❤ got to love it
David Coverdale formed Whitesnake in 1978 after Deep Purple split.
“Blindman”

The two of them were married for a while back in the 80's, Tawny Kitaen passed away a couple of years ago at 59 from Cancer. RIP
I've loved this song since I first heard it in 1988. I was 12. That guitar riff great.
I was in my 20s during the 80s and yes it was a blast. 🤟
You gotta do slow and easy. Great track
Whitesnake, Slow and Easy is a must!!!!!
Such a great song! It's the same girl, she just has red hair in this one. The 80s were an awesome time, I wish we could go back.
Awe Whitesnake, got to love them. "Slide it In" next by Whitesnake.
You got to listen to whitesnake slide it in
@@fishtoledo or slow and easy.
David Coverdale hand the epitome of the hair band rock star voice. Tawny Kittain was the crush of any teenage boy at that time.
As a teenager in the 80's it was my goal to emulate a hard rock video vixen. I was born a little too late bc I didn't turn 18 until '92 and only had a few short years left to dress like this at the clubs while it was still the style 😂 These videos were just as much for us girls as the men. These were the men I grew up w on my bedroom walls and always ended up dating. What I wouldn't give for these times back 🤘😝🤘
Once bitten twice shy is my favorite.
