I'm a master electrician and I live and conduct business near this site. This developer has angered nearly everyone in this small town. When I wrote him about the unlicensed illegal electrical wiring in this video, this is his written response, verbatim: "You must be refering to Xxxxxx Xxxx, a contractor that lives nearby to our xPoint complex. He is not providing any services, electrical or otherwise, and has already been banned from the property. There is no "illegal activity" as all wiring is done by licensed electricians per code. However, based on your rant, you will never be one of the contractors allowed to work or enter the site. As a master electrician you can masterbait (sic) on that for a while". This is a federal chemical weapons facility, a Superfund Candidate. Nobody should be living there. He's in court now for more serious matters that I can't mention here. Beware.

    1) Proximity to others which is not under a single roof is a security issue.
    a) People who run out of supplies will attack you.
    b) As its a deserted environement food will be a limited commodity if no agriculture is produced NOW while crop rotation can still be established for longivity - thus everything other then nuclear would give a long prosperity to "community inhabitants"
    c) No guidelines of established "small" governance between inhabitants - anarchy living nextdoor...
    d) Everyone has the same structure, if they can't go through the front door, watch them block your air pipe on top of the bunker to smoke you out...
    2) Vulnerabilities are easy to see... how good is a bunker who everyone knows where it is...
The European one location is also given, the only positive is that it has a huge blast shield.. as its right on the mountain side, it is quite feisable to have vents that are super well hidden, multiple of them to ensure if any is compromised alternative ones are opened. as well as hidden exits to ensure that if anyone goes to front door, a commity can welcome them.(ironic)
Now i did google it, the european one has 35000 for 9m2 shared... its basically a closet with 4 beds, those idividuals are most likely going to be labor, whilst rich people with their 232m2 bunkers... i dont see this ending well AT ALL... if something really goes wrong, those people living in a 9m2 will either demand or take over - if they are the ones keeping the facility in operation, they will "hold" all the power. I do understand the idea of communal bunker. however it has no practical sense if the operators of said facility will be quickly fed up of living in almost prison like conditions. I dont see that facility ending up well either.

What they don't tell you is how dilapidated the bunkers are. Since the closing of the facility in the late 60's, the bunkers were neglected, used as shelters for ranchers' livestock, and settling of the bunkers under the weight of the domes, the concrete (floors and domes) in many are extemely damaged. However, once completed, the interior of these bunkers can be pretty impressive. When I worked out there, I was considering on purchasing one of the railheads on the site to build my residence.

the number 1 threat is mass panic , anarchy and disruption of general trade and commerce, supply chains and ultimately production of goods due to inability to transport said produced goods.
Carrington event would completely set our society at a stand still. it would most likely recover over 2-3 years most likely small towns would have marshal law enacted around the world, while metropols would be complete panic due to all utilities going haywire, initial big cities if goverments prepared properly would be restored within a few weeks - nuclear facilities would be the first ones up and running.
2012 was a near miss, however if you want to know more search Carrington like event.
I think having a bunker is a good idea, to ensure your family's survival during such event, while society re-establishes and goes back to "normal" however looting and famine as well as crime would drastically take over, where "rich" people would be targeted for sure , mansions etc. as obviously, when society goes back to normal, the robbed goods will still hold value. or so general public hopes. Data centers which hold credit information , bank values etc.. like visa, mastercard, are all emp proof datacenters. therefore the financial freeze of such event, would leave people's assets unchanged during the "reset" of society. however if you have no financial means to purchase anything , you are shit out of luck during doomsday time :D
