I was so sorry to hear of Alan's recent passing. I remember sneaking in to the living room when my parents were watching Laugh-In, even though I wasn't quite old enough to understand all the jokes. I'll be ordering a set of the audio CD's and will remember Mr Sues fondly- he'll be missed!

Thinking of Alan acting in a western immediately brings to mind his Laugh-In bit as the cowboy ordering a frozen daiquiri.

0:05 Richard Whorf was a good actor. I remember him in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942). He portrayed Sam Harris, George M. Cohan's (James Cagney) friend & business partner.
