I would love to see some shrimp recipes. Do you and your husband not care for shrimp? I would think living in Florida the seafood is not as expensive as in the MIdwest where I live. But yes how about some shrimp recipes? Oh and by the way I absolutely love your channel. You have helped me so much with your positive attitude and awesome cooking.
Thanks so much!! And yes, we love shrimp! We usually eat it whenever we have steak. But we'll also have it sometimes with salmon or scallops. We just don't usually have recipes for it since we just like it pan seared or grilled. :)
Great haul! I can't wait to see what dinners you come up with. In two weeks, I am going on my first Aldi trip; is there anything that's a "must have" or anything I should watch out for? Do you have any tips for a successful Aldi adventure? Have a great evening! 💕
Thanks so much!!! Ohhh, you're in for a treat! I hope your Aldi is as well stocked as mine is!! Honestly, just take your time and go up and down each aisle. My favorites I'd say are the Everything sourdough and the feta block. I really like their salmon too!
I made ground chicken today with that sloppy joe sauce and just had it on a plate (a/k/a a “bunless” sloppy joe) and it was pretty good! It’s a little less spicy than the brand name Manwich sauce, I thought. Great haul! 😊
Thanks for reminding me to scan products in the store when grocery shopping. I was doing to all day today. I wanted to try some chicken sausages and was able to find the right mix of serving size and point count.
Nice haul Kristie!! Going to aldi tomorrow. Need to get the everything sourdough bread and the frozen avocados for sure. The garlic hummus is a little strong for me...and I'm Italian...lol. I can't do the ground breast meat though. I've tried😩😂😂♥️
Thanks so much, Lori! And yes, that garlic hummus is definitely strong! I can't eat it every day - but my husband has it almost every single night!! And LOL some people are like that with the ground breast!
Great haul! I have a couple questions….do you stay within a calorie limit as well as points? And how long have you been doing WW and have you lost weight? Sorry new to the channel…my mom did WW and I want to start just doing some research now. Have a wonderful day!
Hi there! I wouldn't say I have a limit, but more a range. I try to focus on health now rather than weight. Plus I go through periods of time where I choose to just maintain rather than be in weight loss mode. I lost 93 pounds on Weight Watchers and became a lifetime member back in 2005. However, it was about weight loss and not health then. I restricted myself and overexercised and didn't learn anything. In 2019, my husband and I joined online. He lost 70 pounds and has maintained it ever since. I lost about 50 and then when Covid hit, things were kind of on hold as far as weight loss. I then went through a couple years of "experiences", I guess you could say - trying to work with my doctors and dietician about what was best for me - learning about intuitive eating, etc. So, this year in January, I put my app back in lose mode instead of maintain, but I'm choosing to just shoot for 1/2 pound per week as that's what works best for me individually. I look at WW as not just for weight loss but a way to maintain and not gain my previous weight back, which has worked! I've really learned a lot that it's more about lifestyle changes for me. I just don't want to be at a point where the scale defines me. Hope that was helpful! :)
I have never counted blended fruit, so I still count that as zero. (Just a personal thing for me). So, I just add all the ingredients in the app and count just the regular pointed things. If I make a recipe, I just don't mark the box that it's a drink. I guess I'm a blended fruit rebel! LOL If I drank smoothies all the time or used a whole lot of fruit, I think then I'd probably count it, but since I just have them once in a while and I don't use a whole lot of fruit in it, that's the reason I don't count it. Hope that made sense.
That was a huge haul, maybe I should move to FL because in CA that would of cost me over 500.00 easy! By the way, you, @nikki gets fit, and my mom, (when she was alive) love that imitation crab, for the life of me I don’t understand that! L O L😂😂😂
YES!!! Move close to me!!!! I PREFER real crab legs, but when it comes to the lump crab in the cans, I just can't do that. I know the imitation isn't even crab, but I still like it in recipes! You're too funny!!! 🤣
Hi! I used to do weight watchers and went by the original point system. I decided recently to start weight watchers again but this time use the points plus system instead. Are the points referenced in this video for points plus plan?
Hi Lisa! The points on my videos are based on whatever point system WW was using at the time I filmed. So, this particular video is based on the newest program, which is just called Points. I'm not really sure how they compare to points plus since I don't have access to that anymore.
yum yum excellent haul❣️😁
Thank you!! 💕
It's very nice of you to show us all this and the points too .Thank you !
You're welcome! Thanks so much for watching. :)
Great haul
Thanks so much!! :)

Your canadian bacon and turkey pepperoni suggestions have saved me! Thank you, Girl!
So glad!! Thanks so much!! :)
Great idea with the feta cheese block!!! I learn so much for my own WW journey.
I'm so glad you get ideas!! Thanks so much for watching! 😊

Thanks Anne! :)

Thanks so much! Yes, I agree that it's less spicy than Manwich.

Great!! Yes, being able to scan in store is so helpful!! :)
That chocolate is dangerously delicious
It is definitely good!!!! 😋
A good pasta to try is Dreamfields it’s high in probiotics it’s very good and it’s only four points for 2 ounce dry serving or 56 g
I haven't heard of that. Will have to watch for it!
I do have a pineapple corer/slicer, but it's still sometimes a pain to use. Fresh pineapple _is_ delicious! 🍍 Thank you for sharing your groceries.
I tried mine and I was quite impressed! LOL You're right though - nothing like fresh pineapple! 😋
The Dreamfields pasta has five dietary fibers for soluble fibers and one insoluble fiber, and 7 g of protein, 190 cal per serving what is 1 g of fat
Very good to know!! Thanks again!
Thats a great idea on the feta i will try that.
Thanks! So easy to just grab a cube! 😊

Have you tried their dill pickle hummus? It’s so good!
I haven't even seen that one! I will definitely watch for it next time!! 😋 Thanks!

?
I’m sorry on the dream field. It’s contains pre-biotic fiber.
No worries. It sounds like it has lots of good stuff in it! 😊
Great haul!
Thanks friend! 😊
