But... even the dumbest deputy would realise he'd be very likely to be targeted if he was on a roof pointing a rifle towards a presidential candidate without telling anyone? I'm no conspiracist but the magnitude of the delay in response is glaring.
The split screens are excellent. You are on point with this analysis. If you've been in a complex military operation that went south you understand. Communication links and responsibility divided among multiple agencies is VERY tough. It can be done and it should be done, but if you don't have your stuff wired it unravels. This makes way more sense than saying "the cops and Secret Service were in on it," especially since 99.9% of cops and secret service guys are Trumpers.
Well, Secret Service with all those errors is like Michael Jordon missing ten lay-ups in a row.
