    I have a theory that maybe instead of chigiri getting injured it will be yukimiya going for his eye treatment(i forgot which club, i think it was dupe Ajax that offered to pay for treatment) and will need healing time,which will open a space for Sae in the world cup.I do think there will be another actual injury down the line with a different player but i dont think theyll make a serious one just for Sae to get a spot

    I think people are glossing over the fact that in the next arc Kaizer,Lorenzo won't be a focus in the U-20 World Cup its a world cup that means Isagi will find a new rival maybe a player from Brazil,England like you guys need to understand Kaizer's story after the Neo-Egoist league is over and new better characters will be introduced for our players to overcome

    My biggest question is how the tournament will be set up. I’m not sure how many round robin games a team plays to get seeded for the elimination games but this could be the longest arc ever😭 BUT we did see Baratsuta or wtvr his name is pitching a blue lock funded “twist” to the fifa council about the upcoming u20 wc. Which is just making it more convenient for the plot. So who knows

    • @thestain8004
      @thestain8004 Месяц назад +1

      First japan need to qualify for the world Cup which I'm not sure how many matches that is but I assume that will be offscreened. The group stages usually involves 3 matches. I believe that one of these matches will be fodder. One will be a top team like Germany or France that they'll lose to and then they'll have to beat a team with a new gen XI player in order to make it out of group stages with a 2 wins 1 loss record. Then the knockout stage is usually first round, quarter final, semi final and then final. Therefore I'm predicting we get 2 short group stage matches and 1 long one and then we'll get a medium length round 1 and then the quarter finals up to finals will be long matches with plot relevant opponents and big star players with a potential revenge match in the semi finals against the team that beat them in the group stage where they come out in top and then lose to the final boss in the finals which I'm predicting to be France

    I strongly think Sae is going to play, but he would have to replace one of the top 23 to make the team. Who do you think it's going to be?
    I think that if Chigiri does get injured, it will be now during the Barcha game, and not during the U20 World Cup. That could be the way for Sae to join the team without someone able to play being sacrificed.

    • @DarkheroJosh
      @DarkheroJosh  Месяц назад +5

      honestly i don't think it'll be Chigiri, he is a really important character in the story who still has things going for him in the world cup. Maybe we'll get another arc before u-20 where Sae mentions he wants to join the japan team (maybe) and Sae will take someone's spot by playing in like a final selection type of match

    I never knew about there being a golden boot and golden ball because i dont know much about soccer before reading Blue Lock.
    I think Barou is going to get the Golden Boot because it's, I think, the completion of his arc to be the top scorer, the king of soccer who ushers in a new era. Isagi will get the Golden Ball because it's the ultimate protagonist thing to do. Rin doesn't need either because the completion of Rin's arc will be a brotherly dual-awakening with Sae. Nagi and Bachira are magic dribbling/trapping players rather than hat trick scorers, so I don't see them narratively getting either of those trophies. Nagi's arc will be complete when he quits soccer and/or finds the truth for his ego. Bachira's character arc, I feel, is already complete, and he will simply be a best friend support role to Isagi while still proving to be a total menace on the field. That is, Bachira's arc will find narrative strength in his ability to enlighten those around him. Yukimiya will forego playing in the world cup in order to be treated for his eyes. Chigiri will play in the World Cup but it will be the last time he plays soccer (Chigiri's final goal will be leg shattering). Kunigami's hero soul will have to reawaken during the world cup game.
    The World Cup arc is gonna be incredible, because we'll see Isagi and his team face off against every final boss there is.

    Isagi could never start as a 9 or as a winger, he doesnt have any physical capabilities to win on 1 on 1s against top defenders. His talents are more adequate for a midfielder, ofensive or defensive, but he could survive as some sort of Thomas Muller on the Forward position, thats his only wway to become a striker the way he wants.

Rin has to surpass sae before it can happen, sae wont work with rin unless sae acknowledges him as a striker capable of changing Japanese football.
