The best video review for Philips 5400 I have ever seen. You guys are the best! I like you beeing so funny and informative at the same time. Definatelly learned a lot about these ones. I am now strugling which one to get but you helped a lot with this video. Keep it up and continue doing such videos. Very helpful for us! Greetings from Bulgaria!
FINALLY!!! Got mine a week ago and just loving all the types. 5400 is pricey but it's worth it to me. Drink atleast 2 drinks per day. 1 in the morning and 1 in mid afternoon. Learning the types of beans to use still
@@Shells84 I just ordered the 4300 yesterday as well. I'm pretty sure even the 3200 would've been fine but I like the screen and stainless finish on the 3200
@@Shells84 I mainly got the 5400 since it was programmed with the drinks and makes it easier for my wife. Normally i merely use it for the expresso shots now.
I ordered the 4300 because I thought I didn't need to travel cup, but after this video watching side by side, for 100 more I cancelled the 4300 and went with the 5400!! I'm so excited to get it! I'm surprised you're not drinking espresso martini's ohhhhh man now that's a party!
Awesome review and an awesome channel! Your initial review of the 5400 helped us decide to get one. We just received it and are loving it. I know you are not technical support, but wanted to throw out one question. After 30 minutes or so, the entire machine just dies. We have to unplug the machine for 60 seconds, plug it back in for it to turn back on. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks for the Review! I've been looking for a while for a super automatic, and somehow the Philips line never shows up in anyone's reviews. I'll be buying the 5400, and your review seemed unbiased and really helped me.
Hi, Great product video, we bought the 4300 machine. I noticed you made the different coffee recipes with time to make them. Question, how do you make a Flat White as there is no button for that? TIA from Australia.
Over here (in Spain) you can get it for 650€ (940$ Canadian) and they are readily available, so after watching your fantastically informative videos (you have two on this machine) I think I'll get one. Thanks a million. I am referring to the 5400 model.
Oh ya and thank you for explaining why I don't like east coast drip coffee. I couldn't put my finger on it. I'm all about the pressure crema Italian style! I found my dream machine! I had an Illy for a while but I'm tired of the pods and cleaning the milk steam wand (I spill milk everywhere everytime!). Time to try one of these super-automatic machines!
Great review! I like to drink coffee really hot as well and have been looking into these, what would be your recommendation. I heard the 3200 has the hottest setting but I like the higher model as well. Thank you!
Thank you. Could you tell me the clearance height for a travel mug? Also, can the machine run without the drip tray cover to add potential clearance for a travel mug?
Very informative video! Any interest in selling one of those units, or maybe putting me in touch with your Philips connection? I can’t find a 5400 anywhere, and I don’t really want to settle for a 4300. I’m dying to get one of these!
Philips EP5144/70 is really sucks. I just bought that machine and have a software problem in Turkey. I cannot install aquaclean filter and philips is not helping and protecting their machine in here. Too bad for them.

I’m sad I only ordered the 4300 now. 😟😔

Where did you get it? They seem to be sold out everywhere!

Great idea! We absolutely love those! Next time!
I wish they made hoppers with a divider so you can have his and hers beans (2 bean types) ?????

Depending on the country you are in, the machine turns off automatically after 30 minutes. Check your user Manual to change it, up to 2 hours

Just bought the 4300! Excited & thanks for vid
Great review. Y'all ought to post more often. 💯
we definitely do! More videos to come from our two month stay in Mexico!! Stay tuned and thanks for watching!

915 EUR here in Serbia (for the 5400 model), yikes
Just found you guys. Love it! You both rock. And now I know why. You’re Canadian! I’m a Canuck in Florida. #Funforever!!
Hi! So glad you found us! Love fellow Canucks! Thank you for watching our video and glad you enjoyed! Currently working on more! Stay tuned! :)
My wife and I ordered the 5400 today, and I have to tell you… guys…. This video was fun watch.
Thank you s0o much for watching! :)
I just ordered the 4300 because it has a somewhat smaller footprint. Love your videos, you two seem to really have lots of fun.
Thanks so much for watching!
LMAO!!! Awesome review for us 471 subs now! I'm in the USA thinking of adding the 4300 to the coffee bar, it looks a little smaller than the 5300.
How did it work out?
My favorite episode. U2 are Great.
Thank you so much watching! :)

Temperature is the same across the models...same heating system. One is not hotter than the other :)
@@funover40 Thank you for taking time to respond. Which one would you recommend I get, 4300 or 5400. Cheers,
Does the 4300 have the extra shot option?
No
9:51- my favorite part
Lucky guy, uh? With privileged access to all those machines.
Ground coffee option didn't work for me at all. Dry powder being dumped out and all that comes out is water. This is frustrating.
oh really? thanks for telling me that, i may buy whole beans only !
Excellent and funny review. Thanks

No, the machine cannot running without drip tray
Those are two great machines :)
Awesome video.
Thank you so much for watching! :)
Ok we need a martini 🍸 class next!
I fully endorse this idea !:P

We just ordered ours from William-Sonoma.
Great video! Are the Philips 4300 and 5400 the same size in dimensions? What are the size dimensions for each?
Yes they are the same!

Extra milk please?!
gorgeous wife
Heads up, you don’t “cheers”, you toast :)
No ice coffee
