    With all due respect, AC Milan in 2003-2008 was the best team in the world. With the best squad/players + the best coach (until now).
    Am a Chelsea fans, anw. But for me, going back in their prime, Milan is the strongest team for their opponent. Love how they played. Love how Ancelotti make them great.
    Super crazy team!

      They won one champions league inter dominance in the domestic league. They weren’t that great. They just had all the star at the time but they were knocked out and beaten alot. There was no best team in the world imo from 2000 until peps barca

    • @Carloeziomauro

      @billyderry6526 I don't think so: Juventus 2003, Milan 2004, Juventus 2005 (then revoked, Milan arrived second), Juventus 2006 (then revoked, Milan arrived second). Finally Inter won the scudetto in 2007 but only because Milan and Juventus were penalized. In 2008 it was a fair and clear scudetto to Inter. So yeah I wouldn't say Inter dominated 2003-2008 serie A, at all.

    L'Hernan Crespo di quella stagione fu qualcosa di straordinario ed irripetibile. Sembrava già finito e demotivato dopo uan brutta parentesi al Chelsea(errore della sua carriera), ma Ancelotti lo volle comunque perché sapeva che dopo la serata di La Coruna dell'anno prima in Europa serviva un attaccante meno egoista ma più complementare con Shevchenko, cosa che Inzaghi non poteva garantire essendo sempre un tipo di attaccante alla costante ricerca del gol a tutti i costi, grande pregio ma in alcune partite anche difetto enorme di Superpippo(tipo a La Coruna nel 2004, in una delle serate peggiori della sua carriera). E Carletto ebbe ragione; l'intesa tra Sheva e Crespo fu incredibile e fu proprio quella a portarci fino ad Instanbul

      Against deportivo , inzaghi only played 25 minutes; tomasson and shevchenko started the game. milan was eliminated because ancelotti though it was done and because dida did big mistakes. But i agree on the fact that crespo did 6 month extraordinary.
      and then inzaghi was the hero of 2007

      @@ODLH No chance. Crespo was a more skilled and smarter player who performed on every team in any formation. Shevchenko missed a key penalty and was streaky. Not to mention he couldn't play in England either. Crespo wouldn't have missed the penalty at Istanbul.

      @ODLH 20 часов назад

      @ciaronsmith4995 You have no arguments, Shevchenko was better technically and phisically, he had a better career and better numbers. You are the only one in the world thinking that Crespo is better than Sheva.
      You can compare Crespo with Trezeguet

    • @ciaronsmith4995
      @ciaronsmith4995 20 часов назад +1

      @@ODLH Nobody thinks Shevchenko was better technically or had the better career. Crespo scored 153 goals in Serie A and 35 goals internationally. Shevchenko only 127 in Serie A. Shevchenko was good at Milan for 4 years. That's it and missed a key penalty too. Crespo was legendary since 1998 at Parma across different leagues and teams. Enough.

    • @ODLH
      @ODLH 19 часов назад

      @ciaronsmith4995 Shevchenko with AC Milan had 175 goals and 46 assist in 322 games. He scored 48 goals and 16 assist in Champions League, Crespo 25 goals and 6 assist.
      Shevchenko was top class and decisive for 9 seasons, Crespo was not decisive as Andriy.

    • @jonsnow7092
      @jonsnow7092 10 месяцев назад +16

      defenders on both teams were insanely good in this match. also, there are no "offensive tactics" that you can do, when Maldini bends space-time and teleports in front of you every time you get the ball. english football in the 90s and 2000s was especially brutal, and italian defenders in those periods were the best the world has ever seen. it was like fighting against titans. modern girl-football we see today would not have worked back then.
