  • MoMBA mountain bike trail is one of the mountain bike trails located in the Dayton, Ohio area. It is a part of Huffman MetroPark. MoMBA stands for MetroParks Mountain Biking Area. MoMBA’s advanced section, Hawk’s Lair has some of the best rock riding in Ohio. The trail is located 60 miles from Columbus, 60 miles from Cincinnati, 190 miles from Canton and 200 miles from Cleveland.
    There are approximately 9 miles of trail here consisting of Hilltop Flow (0.71), Twisted (0.47), Voodoo (0.50), Mr. Zig Zag (0.94), Creekside (2.26), Upper Stealth (1.04), Lower Stealth (1), Hawk’s Lair (2.11), and The Talon (0.31).     Thanks for the video! I am planning on riding this or Chestnut Ridge on Friday. Which one do you think is more fun? I have not ridden either trail yet.

      Thanks for watching! They are both fun in different ways. MoMBA is tighter with less climbing and descending. Even though it's tighter, it still has good flow. The best part is the slow tech in Hawk's Lair section. Chestnut has more elevation gain/loss and is a faster trail. It has a little less flow. I prefer Chestnut because it is a faster trail. If you like slow tech, MoMBA is better.

      Thank you! I'm using a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt version 1 with a Garmin speed sensor on the front wheel.
