Nate this video was beautifully edited. I have noticed in the past year how you show up on other homesteads to help, but also learn. You are an inspiration ❤ Happy Mother’s Day Katie😊
Nate, you are the best kind of friend. Always heartwarming to see friends helping friends, which I see quite often on my favorite homesteading channels. 😊
Hi Nate, Thank you for the heads up. Idk why I couldn’t watch this one. I’ve watched most of the other animals you & Ben & Sean have proceeded, but my goodness I had to stop this one right away. I’m glad u got to learn a new skill though. I’ll catch you all on the next one. 😊
Be nicer if you both lived CLOSER together. You both have FABULOUS homesteads. I WATCH and PRAYED each Trip that this next one would be Home. Well, you did. Found the grand prize. GOD has BLESSED you all. I am so VERY HAPPY BLESSED FOR YOU. It is coming together we'll. As your friend says "slow, slow" We'll see you next time. BLESSED MOTHER'S DAY 👍🀄❤️❤️🌹👍 FROM S E MICHIGAN. ENJOY your day
Thank you for sharing. I have sheep I will need to process in October. Not just to feed my family, but to keep the flock small enough so our pastures can feed the flock. I’ve been dreading it, but watching this helps.
We use a tractor all the time, as it's easier to load the carcass on the flat deck truck to take to the cooler where we hang them for 2 to 3 days before cutting up. 😊
Thank you for the heads up on what this video is about. I'm also a subscriber to Holler Homestead. I can't handle killing of animals. I have no problem with others processing them. I just can't watch. I know it's a normal process, I just can't watch it. Thank you and I love all the Homestead videos.
Thank you for the warning Nate it was really appreciated 😊 Unfortunately I am very squeamish so I am going to pass on the rest of this video. I should add I am not and will never be a farmer/homesteader a) because of said squeamishness and b) because I am in a wheelchair with very limited use of my hands so please no having a go at me for not watching further everyone
No need to apologize. I did watch although like he said, it was definitely not a how to....that was fine. I could not do it either, and yes I do know our meat doesn't come on a styrofoam plate. I am happy we do have folks that do these things for us. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there in You Tube Land.
Polgara,. WHAT a beautiful name. My folks are from Germany 🇩🇪. No one should JUDGE. We each do what we can do. I appreciate your honesty. Nate and Kate are a wonderful helpful loving family. GOD BLESS YOU 🀄🛐👍✝️ I am a VEGAN. I used to eat meat long ago. Hope to chat with you soon. CIAO ❤️🌹🥀❤️🀄🛐✝️👍🇺🇸🇨🇦
@@evalinawarne1337 Thank you sadly it is not my real name it is my favourite characters name from my favourite series of books. However my real name is very unusual which is the reason I don't use it sadly it is too easy to be tracked down by trolls and scammers unfortunately. You are correct nobody should Judge sadly I have learned the hard way they do. I am a meat eater and I am well aware of where my meal comes from I just can't watch the process..... I did try on The Hollars channel once the umm results were not pretty so decided it was wiser not to repeat it 🤣🤣
### Nate .set up an area fi your sheep to get rid of all that poison ivy you got...they seem to love it ...n bramble bushes... too !?!...pigs n chickens would have made short work of all the stuff you guys buried with the tractor...
I know someone has to do this if you want to have meat to eat but I don’t know how you can raise those docile sweet natured creatures, reacting with them daily & then cut their throats & eat them. So sad. Not sure I can watch anymore of your videos. If I had to do this, I’m sure I’d be a vegetarian.😣

Happy Mother's Day to Katy have fun processing the sheep with Ben
I'm from definite hillbilly stock. I've eaten it all. Possum, groundhog, raccoon, muskrat, beaver. Glad I'm now able to afford cow, pig, and chicken.
That was a short video but I admire you for joining Ben. God bless.
Wow! This is the first shot of their homestead from the road that i have seen. It's looking great from all angles.
❤ Meg n Ben. Was lovely to see. Not grossed out
Thank for sharing✌️🇺🇸❤️

The hollers. Some of,my favs
What an awesome opportunity to learn. Seems like as a homesteader there is always one available.

Wwwwhy are you burying the coolers?
They didn't bury the coolers. They used the tractor to move them then buried the guts and skin.
Thank you sir for always helping the hollar God bless you
Yeah Nate have 2 pass. Will catch u on the next one. Thank u 4 the warning. Happy Mother's Day Katie!
Pretty cool 😊
Sheep are so sweet. I could never kill or eat one.
I couldn't watch this!! Love you guys though!
As always a pleasure to spend some time with you. Happy Mother's Day from one mom to another.
Thank you, Happy Mother's Day to you!
I love the “help a friend” video…oh I want to be part of the groundhog processing 😂😂😂😂

Happy Mothers Day 🎉
“Hi, this is your neighbour and I heard things last night and I noticed you were burying something in the forest?” 😂🤣
I'm glad you showed the butchering
Lamb ribs are very good.... 😊
I understand the concept and I eat meat; but the sheep seemed docile and friendly, I felt very sad for them. Thankful it was quick and not wasteful.
Reminds me when my dad w a deer. Love from Virginia
Please come get this grooundhog. I cant have anything.
I'll be honest, I have bled out a chicken, no problem. Not sure I could bring myself to bleed out a live sheep.
ty..xoxo 🥰🖐👍✌🤟🤪👁❤🐑
Thanks for the warning….I’ll pass on this one.

Why didn't show the entire process?

This just makes me too sad...those poor sweet animals.
Im wondering y ben didnt feed the pigs all the guts
If he still had the other kind he would have. The pigs he has now don’t need that much fed to them.
I liked the video but will pass on this one.
You’re to emotionally involved. Just get it done! If viewers don’t like do be it. They need to find another channel.
I know someone has to do this if you want to have meat to eat but I don’t know how you can raise those docile sweet natured creatures, reacting with them daily & then cut their throats & eat them. I agree. The thought of homesteading seems so sweet until you see this and realize it's really not.
It's sad to see when people kill their animals. I don't like to see that part.
