A child out of wedlock conceived in deceit as his mother was taken over by a man who had taken an appearance of her husband all resembles the adventures of Zeus, who frequently used various apparitions to get to the objects of his desire… A hero King Arthur possessed magic powers just like Hercules or other offsprings of the Greek Gods who were only half humans. And no explanation ever given of the actual deeds of the Knights of the Round Table! The gruesome battle w/Lancelot is a dubious ending of Camelot not so royal legacy. A King cheated by his wife wasn’t meant to be idealized and yet, King Arthur “stuck” in realm of immortals according to Medieval mythology.

Great question! As you may know, Mr. Hall wrote extensively about Freemasonry in the early years of his career. It is generally understood that Hall was not elevated to 32nd Degree until the late 1950's and 33rd much later. I feel he knew how to skillfully share the important parts of the tradition without divulging any secrets. Furthermore, Hall quite often spoke about how the real lodge or temple is within each of us, and it is there that we will discover the greatest secrets of all.
Yes, very true, as this is the first introductory lecture within a 5-part seminar. Hall often would use the first of a multi-part talk to set up background and context.

RE Martin Luther... You said that Rosicrucianism could not have existed before his time, because they incorporate Martin Luther's thinking/ideas. Obviously it never occurred to you that it was the other way around, & it was Martin Luther who, in finding some ancient text, took knowledge from the Rosicrucians. So until you can 'PROVE' otherwise, you need to remove that bit from this video. My late Grandmother was a high ranking member of that sect, therefore; I believe she new much more about it than you do.

One good point was made but I would have liked an expanded explanation. Manly said the Romans tolerated all religions as long as they paid their taxes and stayed out of politics. These were basic teachings of Christ. How then did the brutal persecution of Christians come about?

Though persecution of Christians against other Christians was common since the Gnostics and the Essenes. The older more mystic versions of Christianity which connected it to nature and pagan, esoteric and the occult Teachings of the old mystery schools were condemned by the misinterpreted and more litteral versions/interpretations of christian ideology and theology.
