all these people commenting about how amazing the sound is must never have seen snow in real life. snow doesn't make a sound, unless it's sleet, not snow. snow, specially when falling heavily in big flakes muffles every sound, hence why everything seems so much quieter during snowy days. not one of any of these 'snow falling ambience' videos on youtube actually capture what it really sounds like. the muffled hushed silence, the odd moment off a patch of snow falling off a branch onto the ground, the muffled noise of wildlife quietly moving through the snow, etc..

This crinkling sound I believe is most apparent with wetter snow, but I'm just a northener, not someone who's meticulously categorized the music of snow, especially since rain is my preference in any case. Some swear that if you listen close, you can hear what light snowfall sounds like, but it'd have to be windless and with little to no sound pollution from anything nearby.

This sounds like ice crystals falling on an icy surface. Like the other commenter says, snow makes no sound. But the sound of falling ice crystals, an ice storm,if very relaxing when you know you won’t have to drive or walk in it the next day!

This one is also very very nice. Yet my favorite scene with gently falling snow, is still the lovely balcony in the mountains - - with the nice crackling fire. It feels like I’m comfortably sitting there (just out of the scene), able to watch and enjoy the warmth of the fire❣️

It's pretty loud for snow, is it maybe freezing rain? It mimics snow? Snow is very quiet, those big giant flakes slowly swirling around until it lands on the ground and everywhere else.
Please consider an out there idea, A Song Of Ice And Fire themed ambience like waiting out winter in Winterfell, watching a storm at sea from Storms End or under the Weirwood with Bloodraven and the children of the forest.
Ain’t shit calm about this. Just remember in the morning you have to shovel, remeber how you won’t feel your ears. Remember how you’ll be walking in slush for the next 6 months. Just remember
