Congrats on your first race. I also joined my first wing foil race this year. I recommend to be over powered all the time for races. haha.

I also had mast ventilation problems at Defi Wing with an HM86 mast (too thick for racing)

This sounds like the sort of experience I would have, minus any good turns. I started foiling 6 months ago.

i got the same problems with the gong alu mast after i exchange for fone, problem despair

The crash is maybe also part due to the fact that longer boards in the water doesn’t turn that well, especially at speed, and by that, it’s very difficult to save or correct your balance, grtz Matthias
