Waouh ! This lady is so charming, pretty and graceful. And the voice we can hear in the back ground is beautiful. I am Canadienne and I wish to say this in French : « Cette voix est magnifique ! Merci ».
It has been awhile since I've visited Hāmoa. Mahalo Kalani for bringing back fond memories with your beautiful mele and of course for having Aureana Tseu as your dancer.
I know I have already commented on this wonderful mele several months ago, but if there was a way to "super like" or show appreciation many times over I surely would! This mele video is one of my favorites and I watch/listen to it often. Again, mahalo Kalani, Aureana, and the production team!
In my younger days it was spent in Hamoa, every so often when I go back to Hana, I like driving along the lower road of Hamoa passing the homes of the people I knew, like the Kahula's, John Bull, Blondie, Mori English, Helekahi's, Lyons Naone, Harry Hasegawa's, Leslie Medeiros, Atay's 'Ohana (Molly's pond). Good memories!!
Aww did you leave Hawaii? Where do you reside now? We know the Helekahi Ohana very well, as you can see their Name is in this Mele =) Mahalo for the love and support.
@@KalanipeaMusic1....I work & live on O'ahu, but, some of my 'Ohana still resides in Hana, Kipahulu and Kaupo. I have an acre in Kipahulu in which I go back and try to clean the yard, but being it's Kipahulu it's so fertile and the 'ua comes down and makes things grow fast! LOL! I enjoy your Beautiful voice, and I can tell you sing from your heart and your pronunciation of your 'olelo is remarkable! Oh, yes I heard the Helekahi name in the mele, I grew up with Bradley & Ipo they're about my age (makule). LOL! Aloha & 'Ahui hou malama pono!
Although I don't understand Hawaiian dialect, but I still love to listen to this song... From the Philippines, we love you Kalani Pe"a... You're really great... We salute you...
Your voice, the ocean, the beauty of the dances... makes me so nostalgic. My sis lives in Tahiti. Want to spend some time in the Pacific again! You just rouse up so many emotions bro!
Hamoa is a place in Maui, it is on the Hana side of the island and is the first settlement place of Samoanʻs on Maui hence the name Hamoa in translation reference to Samoa. Hope this helps.
@@melodysoi9782 Me too. My wife and I both study and teach hula. We enjoy all the connections between our cultures. My wife was born and raised in Tonga and came here to Hawaii for college and now we share this journey here on the mainland. Have a beautiful evening.
Aloha from maui and Hālau Kekuaokala'au'ala'iliahi...what a beautiful hula dancer!

I love this song, is a favorite, and the hula is beautiful!!! Both tell a beautiful and passionate story (which is what Hawaii is all about)!!!
Such lovely dancing, with a fantastic background. A wonderful advert for Hawaii. I really enjoyed my stay there.
So beautiful!! I can see why this is your favorite beach 💜
right!
The beach is locally known to the people of Hana as "Haole Beach" the Hana Hotel took their hotel guests there to enjoy the beach and to swim.
Beautiful music video
