When I was an apprentice, one of my 1st prep assignments was removing all the trim off a '67 Chevelle convertible. I was given 2 rules, figure out how to remove them and do not damage anything 😬 Somehow I pulled it off.
For the window trim would you know if they did it the same way for the 67? I've just bought one but I will want to paint it black and need to remove the trim as much as possible.
Some really good info there Pharraway, I've seen a lot of people use fishing line to get behind the stick on decals and trims as it will just cut through the adessive, thanks for sharing your expertise👌🙏👍John UK
Always remove everything possible….it’s the first step to a great paint job. Keep the vids and info coming Pharraway 🤝
Thanks Sprayway you are correct
Awesome video, very helpful thanks.

Nice project. Details and prep is key. I'll patiently wait for the following progress video. Thanks.
Thank you. Really awesome. Where can I purchase a kit for molding removal?
Where can I buy these push clips new? Or what are they called so I can try and find them?
I was struggling with 2 trim tools last time, that's a nice set you've got there. Good advise.
Can't wait;) god bless my friend!!
Real body shops remove the trim that's how I was taught
That is correct brother
Pute some body sealer along the drip rail paint over it
You speak like you are foreign and no school
Seeing you working on this 1962 has motivated me to work on my 62 I’m almost done with the body work
That is awesome brother send me some pictures
That's the way to do it to remove all the trims.
Do you have a video on removing rear glass an front windshield trim on a 64 impala
