I'm sorry to burst the bubble, but I can say Gullet won't be in this season. In the Hollywood Reporter article right before filming began from a year ago, they mention they shifted two episode, and moved a battle that was supposed to be the climax in Season 2, over to Season 3. They might tease the Gullet, with people in Armor riding on Ships as a big cliffhanger, but the Battle will not happen in this season. And they might have the Fall of KL happen before the Gullet in the show.

I feel like the standout character this season will be either be Aegon II and Heleana.

44:01 None of the dragon riders in the show have two dragons, even Daemon or Rhaenyra, it’s that most, if not all, Targaryens have an affinity for dragons whether they are bonded or not. It means that a dragon will not outright eat Targaryen if said person is non-threatening and approaches with respect. We see this with Aemon, before he bonds with Vhagar; we see this with Daemon and Vermithor (possibly Rhaenyra too now in HOTD); we see this again with Daenerys (who, despite popular belief, is only bonded to Drogon); we see this with Jon Snow and Rhaegel (in Season 8 ugh); and we see this with Ben Plumm and Rhaegel, Viserion, and Drogon (in the books). Even after a dragon has bonded with a rider, it is shown to have free will, and beyond that: others (Targaryens especially) can still interact with the dragon under the right circumstances. There are characters in the books, like Elissa Farman, who are not Targaryen at all, but can ride a dragon WITH its rider. So dragon lore hasn’t been broken yet by the writers, at all, and I think Addam and Seasmoke’s encounter with Rhaenyra confirms to her that Laenor has died in Essos-which is why she looks so disturbed in the snippet of the scene we see from the trailer.

46:34 This is true of Cannibal, he is thought to be a wild Westerosi dragon-not a Targaryen dragon from Valyria-but this is not true of Sheepstealer.
Sheepstealer was recorded by the maesters to have been born in the reign of Jaehaerys, to have made his lair the Dragonmont (a purely Targaryen-dragon stronghold), and to have never been claimed in his youth. While it isn’t outright said, I think all of these facts suggest (if not confirm) that Sheepstealer was born to a Targaryen dragon, but simply remained unclaimed. In fact, when Jaehaerys was young: there were few Targaryens to bond with any dragons born during that time. His brother, Aegon the Uncrowned, died with his dragon, and whose sister-wife Rhaena was already bonded to Dreamfyre, and their twin daughters were toddlers in hiding. Jarhaerys’s other siblings either died in the cradle or were in chains, and then only 2 of 13 of Jaehaerys’s children claimed a dragon. Point being, there were several Targaryen dragons born for two generations that were never claimed. I think Sheepstealer is among them.

They didn't say if episodes were going to be 90 minutes long. I doubt they will be longer than an hour. The only exceptions to that are: I can see Episode 1 (premiere, B&C), Episode 4 (Rooks Rest), Episode 8 (just because it's finale), to be closer to the 1hr 15min mark. All the other episodes in between, are going to be 1hr or even 55 minutes.

Daemon is the most popular character in this show and it’s not close

6:49 That would be very cool, but unfortunately there’s confirmation from the showrunners that the Battle of the Gullet has been moved to Season 3, so it won’t feature as the Season 2 finale.

The Cold Open for Season 2 is most likely going to be Ravens going to Winterfell and Cregan Stark receiving the message that King Viserys is dead and Aegon is Crowned.

My guess the Aegon Conquest show will be from Aegon on Dragonstone all the way to the downfall of Maegor.
In the Hollywood Reporter Article from a Year Ago they mention that HBO had plans for a “movie, that’ll lead into a tv series.”
So the actual conquest may be a movie, and the rest can be a tv series with the end being downfall of Maegor.

I really hope hope book readers don't overhype Cregan for none book readers. After season 2 he probably won't show up till the final season.

Not likely. They will probably give him something to do, maybe go south with the Winter Wolves or something.
But in TV you cant just not show an important character for 3 seasons, unlike in a book

Yeah, I don't get the Cregan hype. They'll probably give him more to do in the show but in the book he does literally nothing and gets hyped because he's a Stark...?
