I'm quite a firm tough woman especially when it comes to defending my foreign spouse from this extortion behavior from some of our fellow Africans. My advice: 1.whenever you are doing holiday bookings, make sure that you get prices of accomodations drinks and eateries prior. In Kenya, we have full board, half board and or Airbnb accomodations. You have a responsibility to protect your man whenever he's in Africa. 2. Your man seems bit laid back or camera shy, kindly consider respecting it when he doesn't feel comfortable being on air. 3. Try not to expose too much of yourselves on cameras especially when you are have differences, sort your little sensitive matters off cameras. 4. This is your first time meeting and being together, kindly take time, to learn and understand each other, remember you come from two different worlds, different personalities and cultures plus you are both struggling with language.
