I was told divorce and remarriage was a mortal so that separated me from God, I am denied confession, and that my hope is to be in the cleansing fires of Purgatory. So….. was I to be single and punished the rest of my life??
If you were denied confession from a Catholic priest, go to another Catholic priest; even if he is from another parish. The priest will guide you and help with any questions re divorce.

The wisdom of my pastor, Fr James Swenson, St Bridget’s in Las Vegas, NV, now in the arms of our Father, told me about why I was unable to Reconcile with Our Lord until the previous marriage was annulled and our marriage was Blessed. All Glory and Praise be to the Holy Trinity and Mystical Body of Christ on this earth for knowing what we need!!! Please pray for the repose of my husband, Sidney, who took his life on Sunday.
