Beautiful performance Rukmini! and totally agree with the point that somewhere during the dance one looses self/ego and becomes one with the divine experience of dancing .. yatho Mano tatho Rasah!
It's rare to see a person putting pure focus into dance and leaving everything behind... It's rare feet you have achieved, keep growing and stay blessed
Excellent performance Rukmini vijaykumar & great thoughts. Would love to see you r more performances and guidance on dance performance. Thank you Rukmini. U r just awesome classical dancer. 👌👌👍👍❤
A very good presentation - well thought out - meaningful insight and I can see how Rukmini relates Advaita to her Dance. Thanks for sharing your experience Rukmini Vijayakumar.
The artist must lose himself / herself in the art, to bring out the best in him / her. As long as the artist is self conscious, there will be a distinction between the artist and the role he / she plays. There will be a line of demarcation between the artist and his / her art. Once the artist is completely free from self consciousness, he/ she can portray any role convincingly. Also changing roles in real life is not so difficult as we may think. Everyone of us seems to be playing dasAvathAram in our real life... as a parent, as a child, as a spouse, as a friend, as an employer, as an employee, as a neighbor, as a sibling, as a grand parent and as a grand child. When one loses SELF, one gain ONENESS, just like the doll made of salt attains oneness with the water it gets thrown in. "Aham brahmAsmi! Thath thvam asi!" :)
@@s.sathiyamoorthi7396 When the Doll made of salt loses its identity by dissolving in the water there comes the total liberation and becoming One with the supreme. 🙏

May advaita spread its wings all over the world to produce such beautiful end products - happy, focused, energetic, and, most importantly, loving and compassionate enough to share the fruit with others.
Strictly speaking Performance has nothing to do with Advaitha, because performance is meaningful only when there is duality and ensuing multiplicity. Performance can take one to the Vedantic shore of Advaitha; to drink the nectar of Advaitha and transcend the duality is left for the individual...and Rukmini through her celestial performances take all the spectators to the wide shore of Vedantic Wisdom; my humble Pranam to her...
As Adi Sankara would say "Advaita or the oneness with the Supreme Divine is the only reality". The separation is a lie. And dukham or sorrow emerges when we are ignorant of this.
Advaita could be a progression on the understanding of existence, though many vedic scholars think that predated texts such as vedas are better. In my opinion.. NO. But i consider that the Shankara was a flawed and racists personality because of a simple fact that he believed in caste (varna) system. No human is perfect and that includes him.

Very beautiful

There is more of a "lecture" with the "dance" part reduced to the minimum!!
It depends on the request made by those who arranged the stage.
We want to watch more your excellent dance, not hear your lecture so much!! Sadly, that is missing in this clip!!
Is it a lecture ?
It is also a sharing as the dance.
Why we use letters in comments ?
Where symbols are enough❤️
