Okay so here's what i can piece together from this video:
-we live in this man's attic
-we are there voluntarily as the exit is not locked
-the owner of the house clearly likes us being around
-the owner of the house sometimes completely disregards our privacy and personal space, barging in to discuss a random aspect about F1
-random F1 discussions are seen as a perk
-we seem to pay our rent on time (as he didn't mention it in any way) or we are hiding from someone or something dangerous, such as werewolves or the TV licence fee collector
That's some deep lore right there!
And for some reason he keeps talking about really wanting to fight some pink alien, and eating horses.
I quite liked the Infiniti Red Bull Livery, the 2015 livery in my eyes is fine, it’s a good way to advertise Renault which had a stake in Nissan but as they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
The 2014 iteration was a little less clunky.
I have the same thing with this years Alpha Tauri. I think the red really works with the black and white. The only place I think it is a bit too much is on the halo.
I find it somewhat funny how despite how many subscribers this channel has, these videos rarely seem to reach 1k views. Really shows just how many people only subscribed because it’s masako’s channel. Hope that changes soon, these videos are great!

I will never understand how people dont like the current Alpines. I think Blue and Pink match perfectly together.
It's some sort of new interpretation from the MILD SEVEN but with pink instead of yellow.
Also Vaporwave is a thing with cyan, purple, blue, pink and even red
The 2023 edition is better and it was hard to pick a worst one since there are so few. This year's was better integrated.
The shades of blue and pink just don’t work. They almost need a brighter blue and a deeper pink
I still don't get why Alpine don't use their Bahrain liveries for the whole season, I prefer them a lot more over the regular ones
It's a contract thing with BWT. First three races are all pink by their request.

The less BWT colors on a car the better, I'd rather rub lemon juice into my eyes than having to look at those all BWT colors abominations for a whole season again (part of what made 2021 so great after all was that racing point was gone and BWT got reduced to a few little specks of eye cancer on the Aston car).

it's just that the specific combination of colors and semi matt finish that BWT uses are super ugly in my opinion.
If they would at least have the pink be slightly metallic, a bit darker, maybe switch the blue with black or something but the way it is now is just horrendous in my eyes.
Oh and their font also looks kinda stupid on an F1 car to me.

i actually liked this year's alphatauri livery. i think the blueish and white livery was gonna get old sooner or later, and it could've used a tertiary colour. i thought it would be orange (kinda like tsunoda's iconic helmet) but it ended up being red and its not terrible. great video tho, im rlly happy my fav dbz creator is also into f1 :D
It could work had it been better implemented. Right now it looks a little abrupt and hastily added. Hopefully next year will be a more natural scheme. Also thanks!
honestly this years alfatauri livery is probably my favourite, the old one was just boring
I was surprised actually by how well the Orlen red blends in as a tertiary colour, as a palette it just works, even if the implementation isn't perfect
I like the little design detail around the sidepod inlets, which was the weak point of last year's livery. The only thing that really bugs me about this year's AT is the distracting slivers of blue on the dorsal fin that result from the AlphaTauri logo being placed too low on the engine cover.
Ooh you know I didn't hate the red accents, but orange would've looked so nice with that navy blue and white

@@LawVS same. it looks like they just made a digital map of the livery and just copy pasted the orlen logo on top without removing the background. if they removed the red, and put it over the black/white it wouldve been much better. honestly toro rosso/alpha tauri never exactly had liveries which were good. toro rosso’s were just offbranded red bull liveries, but it was better before they switched to light blue

I don’t remember the year but I am positive that one year either Benetton or Jordan had 7Up/Pepsi Corporation as their main sponsor. And due to some circumstance Pepsi Corp. had the car flying a Pepsi livery for only the Japanese GP. I never got to see the race or the car. Appreciate your coverage of British stock car racing. What form racing morphs into after gasoline engines are banned is the Million $/Euro Question.
The Malboro Chevrons will never get old. Now you’re right on the 95 car they didn’t flow well with the more modern design. But Marlboro Team Penske showed it could still work into the 00s
It all depends on the implementation and Indycars look good whatever colour they are!

Here on Brazil people usually dislikes the 94 Williams with Rothmans sponsorship because of what happened.
Also it would be fair if all of the 2014 cars were on the list because of the noses 😂

I always loved the purple design on the RedBull. Hopefully the use that or a similar design in the future instead of (nearly 1:1) copying the 2022 Livery

It’s funny that you mention the EJ13 as a weak Jordan livery, considering the body itself may have been the best looking car Jordan ever made.
Indeed, it's all well and good if the car itself looks nice...but if the livery itself doesn't convey confidence nor catches your eye like its previous designs did, it falls apart.
The rb11 is arguably the best livery it has everything good going for it with the purple and it’s from the turbo hybrid era so the car looks better so I don’t understand his decision here

W01 was basically the BGP001 with stuff introduced in 2010 so it couldn't have looked good honestly, but later even as someone who doesn't like Mercedes I have to agree, they just look stunning.

For Williams I'd say the Winfield liveries from 1998-99 were as bad as the 2019 one. Red is not a color you'd typically associate with this team - white and blue are the colors Williams have used since the 80's. But red? Never rally meshed well for Williams (I know that there was red in the Rothmans liveries, but it was an accent color) and there is some tales that Frank Williams vowed to never paint his cars in red - so when BMW came on board (along with Hewlett Packard and Allianz) the team switched to a white and blue livery. And here's one small trivia bit - when Anheuser-Busch sponsored the teams in the 2000's and promoted the Budweiser beer brand on the airbox the logo was painted in blue, rather than Budweiser's red. Which proves that sponsors CAN and should make compromises more often than not (this is in reference to BWT and Orlen insisting their corporate colors to be visible).
For Jordan, I'd say the 1995 livery is the weakest of the bunch. The 2003 it looks empty, but it retains the canary yellow+black livery that has been synonymous with the team and their association with Benson & Hedges (and their sister Sobranie brand). The Jordan 195 one on the other hand has too many colors that don't look that good IMO. Another candidate would be the 196 - the reason why Jordan went with the brighter canary yellow familiar with their cars til their final hurrah was due to the fact that the original gold (or a mustard shade of yellow) color of Benson and Hedges didn't mesh well with the black logos and text (even adding white border didn't help) and looked even worse on TV. Thus Jordan's familiar shade of yellow was due to a necessity and convenience.
For Minardi I'd say their 1997 livery is the weakest - the Mild Seven colors look very off on a primairly black-white-yellow livery

I'm a voiceover artist by trade so standing up opens up your torso and helps you project more. Also I did a video like that as a gag and it did very well so I made it a thing.

Ferrari 2021: that weird 1000th tribute color at the back and the green M, hated that one!
It would've made it had that green M been around more often. Also that red at the back was a little lazy, just do the whole car in it or don't bother.

The 1983 Ferrari is probably my favourite Ferrari of all time. It looks a bit silly, but I love it for that reason. The 126c2 the year before is good looking in the normal sense.
The style of car in 1983 was great, just the livery was the worst of a gorgeous bunch

Sometimes you can consider car and livery to be one and the same. Sometimes a great livery can hide a not-so-good looking car.
unpopular opinion but I think that color combination of red bull from early 2010s is quite a mess and it’s more iconic than good looking, especially with that shiny blue color, their livery concept from 2016 onwards isn’t so flashy but it emphasizes the red bull logo and the sponsors on more subtle but more elegant way
Yeah, they were the innovators of the matte paint concept to save weight. Sure, it's only a kilo or two, but these days that's pretty significant.

Oof that was comically harsh on Williams, but I agree. I'm not sure what's worse; that repugnant shade of light blue or the Rexona logo just splotched on there, coupled with its atrocious pace that car is just utterly impossible to take seriously.
It's the gradient fade. It looks extremely amateurish for a legacy team. Not to mention it was coming off the back of a MARTINI livery. Yes, the 2018 Williams was not good, but the livery was still great.
Kinda funny that all the worst liveries mentioned were on really uncompetitive cars, with the 126C2 as the exception.
I’d like to throw in the BAR 01 from 1999 with its dreadful zipped livery. The car was as chronically unreliable as it looked.

And the Tyrrells not a fan of the 1993 car, mostly because the chassis that they used between 1991 and 1st part of 93 was looking good, and also liked the 1994 and 5 car )
Yeah early 90s weren't great for them in performance and aesthetics.
No honestly as a Ferrari fan the SF21 with its green mission winnow logo on the classic red livery without any kind of elements or outline that separate this two colors is an eyesore. Everytime I sense a big disturbance in the Force like millions of ferrari fan complaining how long they need to wait to be world champion again were suddenly silenced
The only thing that saved it was the fact that most of the time it wasn't on the car!

That's fair enough. When you look at those two individual liveries separately, they are both great...it's just the zip motif did not work.
Is it weird that I've just never really understood the hatred for the 2019 Williams. Yeah the gradient is a bit basic I suppose but to me it's always looked fine. The 1995 Jordan was a bit of a cluttered mess of different colours and sponsors
I think it's also the association of the lowest ebb for the team. It has no clear style or look... It doesn't look Williams.
I recommend changing you name to something more f1 like or race like. If you plan on sticking with f1 content, it would probably help you get out there more having you channel name something race related.

The ugliest McLaren is for sure the mp4-29; its front looked like a certain male body part.

Personally I think the SF21 was the worst looking Ferrari. The maroon at the back could have worked if it was on the whole car, like we saw at Mugello, but just the back like that made it look dirty. And the Mission Winnow stuff was distasteful in black, but in neon green? On a red car? Ugh.
They tried to call back to the Mugello 1000 livery but didn't fully commit. But at least the green MW logo was barely seen.
I think Mclarens worst livery was probably 2017? the Black and Orange Charandon, it was horrendous.
It was definitely a misstep in the return to papaya. It wasn't even the right orange!
I'm not keen on the 2023 alfa/sauber. It looks like they ran out of paint and it doesn't fit with the red, at least not in the middle.
This I feel is gonna be a smooth transition to Audi's colours in 2026.

For me it's the new ones with the Halo, obviously I know and understand why it's there but it makes my head so itchy.
It's something to get used to and in time there'll probably be a more natural Halo integration
To not mention 2015 or 2017 McLaren is big oversight. They really messed that season on all fronts.

I've never seen that super narrow Arrow from the top and oh my god, how unsafe is that. If someone crashed into the side of that thing the cars nose would just end up in the driver's organs. Good lord those drivers were mad.
Hence why the cars these days have lower noses to avoid that.

For me the 2021 ferrari was horrendous, I don’t like the matte colours that all the teams keep going for anyway but the Ferrari from that year was a terrible attempt at a gradient from dark red to light red, let alone that horrendous bright green Mission Winnow logo on the air box. Awful😂
They wanted to mimic the 1000 Mugello livery and couldn't fully commit. At least the green MW was barely seen!

For me as a Williams fan.
Either the FW42 or the FW43 were the worst. The 2019 and 2020 cars.
The FW43B was quite a decent car and livery having in some way all the colours that represented Williams from 1977 to the present. But no doubt the 80's and 90's cars of Williams we're the best
The FW44 of 2022 was a bit of a letdown for me but thankfully Gulf International for 2023 for the FW45 has made the car better.
The new Williams ones are sensible and mature, but nothing that screams WOW.

My choice for Ferrari would have been the F93A from 1993, just because of the white strap. I don't know why, it look out of place and makes the car not look like a Ferrari in my opinion

I liked the 1996 Benetton AFTER they'd made the cockpit surrounds green - without it was too much white.

If you consider the car itself and not the livery, all of the 2014 cars were ugly, except maybe the merc and RB. Those were acceptable, rest had huge guns sticking out the front middle, iykwim

The Silver Arrow of today should be unpainted carbon. Back in the days the team removed the paint to get the weight down and it seems a good idea even today. Like they showed the blank alumin(i)um back in the days, today it's carbon under the paint.
They tried that a little in 2019 to mimic the silver but got jinxed haha!

It's mainly there to cater to regulation heights for nosecones.
Personally for me the ugliest are always the ones that have any form of BWT branding on them (even 2021 Aston was ruined by them), I just hate that color combination with a passion to the point where I even prefer the clusterf*ck colors of the early 90s to it.
My personal wishlist for F1 is:
1- cars being smaller for better racing again.
2- one or two extra teams on the grid
3- BWT leaves F1 or changes their color
I would say the full pink Force India of 2017 was OK...but BWT do tend to overstep their boundary.
Finally someone agrees with me on the Racing Point 2019 livery
Remove that blue splodge and it's not bad. The blue mucks up the flow.

My least favorite Ferrari livery is 1992-93. Just a sore spot.
It's not a coherent one but it's not super cluttered. Sorta similar to the 2016 one.
I think you have to admit that the 2021 HAAS stood for something worse than the 2019, and was a much worse person for them to get into bed with.
If I could have ties I would. The 2019 one just squeaked because it played on nostalgia with an underserving brand.

I think I see what you're getting at. It's LIKE the usual silver arrows...but the silver is a little too glossy and the Red Ineos blob is off-putting. Something didn't feel quite right with it.
@@LawVS I think it's the combination of a strange silver, with the Red and blue secondary colouring. And Hamilton's looked especially bad with his yellow trim. George's looked a bit better as his blue trim blended more with the rest of the car

Gotta put a major disagree on the Haas part tbh. Yes, the Rich Energy situation was a whole lot of garbage and William Storey was an unserious businessman and an outright thief, but at least Rich Energy aren't co-financing their country's invasion into another sovereign state. Also the 2019 livery was quite pretty imo while the 2021 livery was outright garbage.
In hindsight, I would've mentioned that the 2021 livery would've made this a tie for worst livery. There aren't many Haas liveries to choose from because most of them prior to 2021 were similar somewhat, but yes, I retroactively make 2019 and 2021 a tie for what they stood for.
For me the ugliest McLaren livery is (although it's a one of) is the Marlboro Lights one from the 86 Portugal GP. Simply looks like the classic colours are washed out.
That's very true, perhaps this might make the ugliest one-off liveries.
