It depends on the stairs actually the distance between each steps also counts towards whether you cant walk in or not. I tested it out with the stones and 0.5 works on stones while 0.3 works on benches
But yeah 0.3 interval is smoother in terms of walking up. and doesnt make any weird animations on characters. 0.5 on the stones is still climb-able tho and saves furniture load

I have so many creative ideas and it’s tediously frustrating i can’t execute them properly because we have to exploit the technicalities of the glitches for clipping and floating. The clipping is easy. But the floating is horrific on mobile. I wish MHY would just make clipping & especially floating official so we don’t need to aggressively shake furnishings and click/tap things in weird angles. It’s bizarre that we have to rely on glitches and errors in their system to make things happen. They already made floating pieces of land. So the technology and programming exists. They just need to apply it to other furnishings and make it official so players don’t have to pass through the eye of the needle to design amazing creations.
@@VelvetCerise yep. if the floating islands can be lowered to almost touch the ground, then we can easily float benches to create walkable stairs attached to the ground. It’s sad we have to heavily exploit glitches of ready-made sets just to create basic stairs attached to the ground. Mihoyo should just provide a stair furnishing so we don’t have to do crazy tedious methods to create stairs.
@@HanzoKimura what I notice when I float something, the furnishing automatically moves to the edge of the box of the floating boulder once i tap it. why are they moving? they’d float after but they move.
@@froeloe that happens too often when you’re viewing from the wrong side. Try changing your camera views that will fit the floating method perfectly it takes a lot of practice but youll understand how it works just try different views ^_^
There is one design i am imitating here in RUclips. However, there is one part I don't get: how was he able to make all the pavement stairs move along with the floating platform? When hw spins the plarforms, all the pavement stairs spin with it. 😭

Hello again! I'm coming from the Sakurazaki Estate vid. I've been trying for 3 hours straight the furnishing set method for the stairs that need sinking and I've encountered a problem. So I did the set, the floating lands, then floated 2 benches glued next to each other (as a longer stair), then selected and cancelled the set, then floating them again and cancelling again. So far so good. They are attached to the floating land, I break the set and move the 2 stairs next to the other ones. Now here comes the problem: when trying to float the benches again, only 1 of them floats and is deattached. I can't for the love of everything float the other bench (it always remains RED). I thought that it would float if I moved them separately from each other, but nope. I am at the end of my patience, if you now how to fix this please help me... Thx a lot!
Could you show me a video of what actually happens maybe i can help you. Also dont forget to try clipping the benches for so it will ignore the obstructions before you float it
I don't know what I'm missing, but everytime that I make the third stair, it doesn't attatch, I don't know why, I do the same stepts that the first and second stair, but the third one keeps floating

Funny thing: 0.4 intevals work on benches and you can still sit on those (... like we're able to sit on normal stairs)

You cant detach it lower than you can possibly float it so all you have to do is hide the boulder it is attached to

The floating method is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE on mobile. Like I can’t even. 😭

When I put the meditation stone on the rock and move the rock it’s attached to the meditation stone so it moves both. Maybe they patched it?

For the floating method, were you spam clicking the confirm button to make it blue?
Nope if the platform is smaller than the actual furniture you need to find it's center mass to make it able to float.
