I just finished watching your Disney animated ranking video. For most part. I actually with most of your ranking of Disney animated films with minor tweaks of certain films. I’m glad you put the Emperor’s New Groove in your top ten. The film holds up very well. The fact that the movie works very well considering the Development of this movie been through since 1994 was originally going to be a Prince and Pauper type of story dramatic epic with David Spade & Owen Wilson as lookalikes. I’m glad the film that we got and a great message behind it.

Nice list, but the Fantasia movie ain't garbage. The reason you hate the Fantasia movies that I can think of is that you hate classical music, which is understandable even if you are in the minority in that regard.
Damn this is super underrated video. Really well done and well detailed. I would say that I agree with most of your choices apart from Ralph Breaks the Internet (sorry, I can’t stand that film) As for my favourites, I’m honestly not sure. I kind of cycle between a couple I’m really passionate about from Beauty and the Beast to Mulan to Tangled to Zootopia
Thanks so much!!! It was fun to compile, but even after ranking them all, I wanna watch them again because there are some spots I may need to tweak myself. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed
Great video! I agreed with a lot of your placements. Lady and the Tramp is my favorite Disney movie so I was glad to see it so high on your list. I also love Emperor's New Groove and find it underrated, so it was cool to see it in your top three.

I’m sorry! I did love it a lot, I just haven’t loved it as much with age. It’s also just a stacked group of films. Glad you like it though. Thanks for watching
I personally enjoyed Saludos Amigos, because I like learning about other countries. But I understand that it’s not for everyone. I agree that Lost in the Woods is such a good song! I’ve seen a lot of versions of this ranking, and it’s interesting to see Moana so low on the list for once. I remember watching it a few years ago and only thinking it was okay. The main thing I remembered was just how pretty the animation was, but I think a movie needs more than that to be good. I’ll have to rewatch it sometime. I’m glad you liked Ralph Breaks the Internet and that you see it for its story and message rather than complaining that it’s just a “big advertisement.” People say they completely destroyed Ralph and Vanellope’s characters and that their bond was gone, but I disagree. These things happen in friendships, especially when you’re really close. I also love the messaging that “two best friends don’t need to have the same goal”, because as you grow up and move on through life, that’s so true. You can grow apart and take different paths, but still be connected and be good friends. I also enjoyed all the Disney references. Great video! I subscribed. 🙂
I love Disney.❤ 1:15:57 This is my sister’s favorite film. Every time we go to the zoo, she points out Lions, Warthogs, and Meerkat. As a black person I remember the criticism Princess and the frog got and hearing people debate about it. Yes people have a right to feel a way about her being a frog most of the film but people are so quick to dismiss what the story has to offer. The movie is about overcoming obstacles and having a dream. The characters are fun, the setting is amazing, the music is fantastic & the animation is stunning. Dr Facilier is an amazing Disney villian similar to Ursula. Also I hate to even mention this but tiana being a dark skinned princess is also a plus since Hollywood usually makes the black characters lighter skin or even biracial.
@@thedylpicklemovienetwork yes no problem I see other RUclipsrs say The Princess & the Frog is a bad film and I’m like are we watching the same film? I’m happy you ranked it pretty high it’s so underrated and over looked
As much as I love Moana I have to agree with your statements even tho I would’ve ranked it just a bit higher. Maui is not a great character and just felt in the way. Pua the pig was only in the film for merchandise purposes since he’s barely in the film. The scenes on the water are really long and drawn out.
Yes, some did, but they were produced by “Disney Movie Toons” not “Disney Animation Studios” so I didn’t include them in this list. I went with the official 62 film canon
Yeah I don’t think the black cauldron is good at all. I know people defend the horned king as an underrated Disney villain (and don’t get me wrong John hurt is a terrific actor) but he doesn’t do anything really, we don’t see him killing people, torturing them or manipulating them so he’s honestly not as dark as people think he is, he’s mostly boring but just looks cool.
I'm a big fan of the 2000s Disney movies except for Dinosaur, Chicken Little and Home on the Range, do not like them but Disney movies in the 2000s are underrated
You are extremely biased and opinionated on when and where you decide racism exists. You fail to understand time periods and how they depicted races. Have they aged bad. Maybe so, but i feel that’s a personal thing with race, sexism and queerism. I feel that is a self reflection on people’s inherit misunderstandings of their own cultures history. I find it ironic you criticize films for changing POC into animals, yet put your number one as lion king a film that blatantly depicts african culture as animals. My point being is you are blatantly selective on your criticisms, by calling out some films, while lifting others for the same thing. You need to reevaluate your opinions on what has aged poorly and what will age poorly in years to come. Also you seem to have an affliction with focusing on queer characters, yet put movies highest that obviously queer coded the villains. You seem to be super selective on your biases 😊
That's a totally fair and valid criticism, and I appreciate your message. I haven't really thought about it too deeply. Some things have aged better than others, and sometimes it affects the emotional response I have to them and sometimes it doesn't. Nostalgia also plays heavily into some opinions and thoughts. There's definitely no true way to objectively say what does or doesn't feel dated/work, it's all a matter of opinion and personal feeling. But I'm always looking to grow and learn, and appreciate your comment because I do think there is something very interesting to be said about the overarching history of race and queerness depicted in Disney films.
