    His voice is deeper when he speaks English.

      Japanese has a pitch accent, so the syllables have a high and low pitch almost like singing certain vowels. English has a stress accent where the syllables are hard or soft.

    Sounded way more fluent than expected. Just like muscle, if u don’t use it, language can be shaky at times. (But just like muscle memories, it can be re collected)

    Is it me or tdo you still have an heavy New York accent in japanese (even though I don'T speak japanese but it sounds very new yoorkian to me if this makes sense lol

    Hi Shintaro, I heard you say to Travis Stevens that Jita-Kyoei (mutual wellness and benefit) is the main philosophy of Judo. Given that you're also very experienced in BJJ, I wonder if you think jita-kyoei is the main philosophy of BJJ as well, or whether there are differences in the underlying philosophies of Judo and BJJ. (Sorry that this question is not on topic for this video, but I didn't know where else to ask you.)
