    Road update 1 Nov 2024:
    Recently visited Bangalore to Mangalore
Till Sakleshpur road were pretty good. Just after Sakleshpur end, and hill starts, roads are very bad, till the hill top, and than after again the roads are good.
Again the road are horrible before reaching Mangalore for some 30-45 min, due to construction. Hope in 1-2 years, every road will be repaired

Hello Ajatha... Mangalore to Sakleshpur is hardly 150kms so shouldn't be an issue, especially with your AT. The only issue is the roads from BC Road to Uppinangady are under construction so there are a lot of diversions where you should drive carefully. You will have to pass Shiradi ghat as well but it's pretty safe, as long as you drive sedately and in your lane. Safe travels.

Hello @MrSidsLife... I have never travelled to Kudremukh from Bangalore but as I see the route map, you have to follow the same route as mine till Mudigere and then take a right from somewhere before getting on the Charmadi ghat.. sorry couldn't be of much help.

If the road b/w Sakleshpur and Shiradi ghat is good, then that's the quickest way but if you want a scenic route, then take Charmadi.

Why would you go to Goa using this route... From Bangalore, it's better to take Pune Highway !!
