Alternatively you guys could take the SH6, which goes through Mundgod, Connect with NH 66 at Ankola and enter Goa via Karwar-Majali. My family has been using this route among many others (chorla, tilhari,amboli,anmod) for the past 18 years and in the current road conditions, Karwar route seems to be the quickest. We have completed this journey within 12 hours.

Thanks. After we exited Bangalore Pune expressway, we did not find any petrol pumps for good 160+ km. There were a lot of detour due to construction when we travelled. So, we would advise to have your tank filled before entering the expressway to avoid any kind of issues.

At what average your vehicle was running? How much fuel costed for you one side?
So for 630km it took 10.5 hrs with 1 stop. Average depends on the vehicle.
Overall trip petrol cost was around 12k ₹.

Last 160kms are also covered in the video. Roads are not in too bad condition.
Last 150 kms, It's the same condition since 8 years, I drive to goa every year.

The roads are not too narrow, so should not be a problem as such even for inexperienced drivers.

600 kms takes 13-14 hours and you say indian roads improving!! doesnt make sense.
